Yeah, following on from this, I've noticed while playing as a VP in AFC Wimbledon that the lower league teams pass the ball too damn much when around the goal! I've never seen a lower league team shoot from outside the box and when in the box they often pass up a clear shooting opportunity in favour of yet another pass! It's annoying; it would be great if you could do something about it.
With more powerful teams, they take shots from outside the box and don't pass up shooting opportunities.Edit: @regularcat - Does your stadium names patch have the name for every single team in the ground?

the stadium names are there for every single team in the game including rest of world teams & you will see them as you play.
i can edit anything making all teams do whatever i want basically.
in my db i have edited the ball control & slide tackles for all players so there are missed traps & nobody can get clear possession of the ball in a 2, 3 or 4 player fight for a loose ball.
also lowering the slide tackling attributes it allows for worse slide tackles & more fouls when you or the cpu attempts them.
i wanted to try & stay away from editing the db this year just in case i decide to release an ai patch (which im fighting doing considering fidels patch nobody looks 2x at mine).
but i will eventually edit the db in full lowering all attribute values for all players (making them less machine like & more prone to human error & realistic play) along w/ team values like buildup speed etc for a more diverse style of play amongst all teams to have them play more like they do in real life.
so yea i can make teams shoot more as opposed to trying to push deep into the box or cross or look for cut backs to an eventual good shot.

It definitely only happens with the lower league teams - I had a match against West Ham where they had a few blocked shots from outside the box. I've never seen an AI shoot from outside the box in the lower leagues. It's getting very frustrating - you find yourself yelling at the screen for them to shoot and what do they do? Pass the ball again - and often end up losing possession!

When the patch with the logos comes out, I will be able to use my career mode saves, right? I mean, that won't change a thing, it's only logos, right?
btw, is it just me or the only thing that's changed is the stadium names? The unlicensed team names remain the same, including the competitions...

the changes are in game, either you still have the databases in the big files or you are using your career file which has the original databases.

I've reinstalled the game, deleted the FIFA 12 folder in My documents and everything and the names of the teams and competitions are still the same. The names of the stadiums are changed, though...

you need to make sure the dbs arent in the big files.
remove fifa_ng_db & fifa_ng_db-meta from data0.big.
remove eng_us & eng_us-meta from locale.big.
