I'm a lucky user of the RC gameplay patch. Thanks again.
I would like to play online, I suppose that's no problem against a RC patch user. But how can I switch to original gameplay to play against the others?
I haven't see a version switcher...

I'm just coming from a Testmatch with your Gameplay-Patch and want to show my impressions:
First of all: it is fast. Unbelievable fast. I played Profi with United against Barcelona, although I won 6:2 there are some strange things. I know, Barca is hard to tackle, but it is some kind of impossible. I was running behind (it doesn't matter with who against who) and was hammering on B on my Pad, but I could never stop the attacker by pulling his jersey. They always ran away and I had no chance to win the ball by tackle. Barcelonas player running way too much "zick-zack" by stopping immediatley and running in another direction, no chance to follow. Their tricks, ok, the number is acceptable, although it could be slightly decreased.
Good is, in my impression, that you are able to play more of nice combinations in counter attacks (especially long balls), although you can beat the defenders in 80-90% by running on the side and passing in the middle.
The second Match I won 4:2 (well, running on the side and passing in the middle is very strong) but I lowered the speed in FIFA. It was slightly better, but still no chance to tackle a player. My players were sliding over the pitch, the only real chance to win the ball instead of bad passes from my enemy.

For those who are experiencing "too much fast" gameplay, you must have been using a database other than RC's gameplay database and/or have not been using the prescribed slider settings. I have got 4-5 different databases, and with some databases the gameplay is lightening fast. So, first of all use prescribed slider settings, then try to play with World Class/Legendary difficulty with game speed = Normal/slow. Lastly try out the RC's gameplay database. The true gameplay essence can be enjoyed only using by following all of the above.
regularcat: I installed your db file (thanks!), and I have to say I'm extremely impressed and very happy with the gameplay now. Can't say enough about how much better the game plays. It's almost comical to compare the crummy default EA gameplay to what you've managed to accomplish. Thanks for all your hard work. Question: Did you tweak the CPU momentum scripting? The one thing I truly hate about the default EA gameplay is how badly they've scripted the CPU momentum programming -- where the CPU plays like Barca for one half and like drunken bums the second half. I'm not seeing that so far in the games I've played, just wondering if that's your doing.

I am, immensely. Best gameplay patch I've ever downloaded and installed for any game, by far. If you don't do this sort of thing for a living, you should. You obviously have the talent and knowhow to be the best video sports gameplay programmer on the planet.
