Hah, that it does suck. I recently thought I got turned down by one girl that I was getting to know: turns out she was just really busy and didnt have time to hang out.
Tell you what helps me, seriously. Go out with friends to try and forget about it, and while youre outside just make idle eyes at a girls you see, because that will bring the whole "plenty of fish" line home, and youll realize that god has blessed this world with many hot chicks in your age group. If it didnt happen, then hey, it just wasnt meant to be. Youre young and there will be plenty of girls
I was always afraid of rejection, but as my friend says rejection is gonna happen. But its equally likely that your boldness and confidence will get you that number or that first date. Girls, normal girls anyway, rate confidence and flattery almost as high as good looks, humor, personality etc

thanks for the advice guys. ya alcohol works, but it only works for chatting up random chicks in clubs or something... I cant get drunk during a party and chat up any girls I already know, cuz they know I'm one of the funny cute guys whos just a friend. ****in hoes
however, when I'm sober, I'm just too shy. I have no problem talking to girls, really, I just cant get the conversation serious enough for it to go anywhere
