I got serious problems with my Fifa 2005. When I downloaded the demo everything worked great and I had a great time. But then I bought Fifa 2005, started playing it, and I started having this slow motion problem in the game. Every 5-7 secs the game goes into slow motion for about 4 secs. Its extremely annoying. I have a good machine too. 3.2 ghz processor, 512 MB DDR Ram, GeForce FX Go5200 64 MB graphics card. I have no spyware on my computer. I have about 20 GB of hard drive space left. I've tried reinstalling the game. I updated drivers, reinstalled DirectX all to no avail. I've tried going with 16 colors, lower resolution, lower detail, and I still have the same problem.

I even tried putting the game on high priority in the proccesses section in Windows Task Manager. Then I tried the Render Every Frame line. I also tried deleting the other config files. Nothing has worked so far. Its obvious to me that its the game and not my machine. All my other games work flawlessly. I plan on returning the game if EA doesn't do something soon.

Hope it's help...

I still got a blinking screen when I play the game...
geforce 2 mx 400 64ram
p4 2.0ghz
512ram ddr pc2700 (333mhz)
I also tried the common.ini with render every...
didn't help.

But...
I found a solution when I see the blinking problem I just use Alt + Tab to return to windows then another Alt + Tab for returning to game and “walla” problem fixed.
Of course every time blinking problem happened I need to repeat this action but it’s no a big deal.

Just when i'm playing via Dierct IP and using Alt + Tab, it's disconnect me from the game!!!

Yes the demo is very smooth and it isnt blurry but the full version is very blurry and stutters when the ball is passed around. :kader: EA better rectify the problem or their sales is gonna suffer for the next fifa release.

LETS GET THIS SORTED ASAP!

In order for us to be noticed, we ALL need to contact EA by any means. That means by phone or by e-mail to get noticed. The more they recieve this problem the more they'll sit back and begin to realise this problem is serious. Not only can it be poor support by EA meaning upset customers, but...this problem causes eye strain and headaches making this an important health issue. This needs to be retified asap so we need to work as a team and make ourselves heard. Kareem already knows the situation but one man cannot do it on his own, we need more EA techical support technicians to be working on the problem for a quick resolution. Come on guys we need to basically irritate EA in order to be noticed.

EA SPORTS WE NEED YOU PLEASE HELP US!!!

Kareem was supposed to help us but now he disappeared. Darn im not touching that game until we get an answer cos its making me dizzy.

yes we had a similar problem with mvp 2004 for the pc

with lots of complaining - emails mainly -

they released a patch 2 months later to fix it....

I will send them an email tommorow

Ive tried comparing the demo with the full version i dun see much difference in the files and lines. Damn EA they always make 2 steps back when they had made a step forward wheres the render every ai function EA?

Has anyone heard anything from EA yet or figured the command line out? God this is taking ages i've been a reliable FIFA fan for many years, if this is the way there gonna treat us i'll consider switching to the dark side (Pro Evo).


ANY WIZKIDS FIGURED IT OUT YET!???

I downloaded the demo and i descovered some configuration files which could be of some use to someone.

Check these pics out, these are the command lines contained in the 'high specification' config file. AKA cfg_pc_h.ini

Can someone insert these into there FIFA 2005 full game and see if they make a difference.
