Replacing default boots!

Hi guys, new to modding and PC's in general - I've been attempting to replace all the default EA boots in the game with some success and a lot of trial and error, and I was wondering if there was a way of replacing specific boots without using editing tools, as I cannot get CM12 to work right now. I've been referring to the read me files etc but still find it all very confusing. Is there a FAQ or step by step guide to manually adding boots to the game. They need to show up in my saved Career modes too.

maybe if you have .rx3 texture you can place it to the folder

editing tools, as I cannot get CM12 to work right now. I've been referring to the read me files etc but still find it all very confusing.

If you are running it on Windows 7, try right click and "run as administrator" thats how i get CM 12 to work.

I think you will need revolution mod to see the boots in your career mode... You will need to read the readme/manual files that come with the mod to understand how it works... I am yet to use it, I just can't be bothered to put all the mods I have into the game yet.
