Replacing team selection flags/badges

I'm editing my game to replace Tunisia with Jamaica. Where do I find the file that has the team selection flags/badges? I've been looking through the files, but I can't seem to find it, and I can't very well have Jamaica using Tunisia's flag, now can I? I'd appreciate some help here. Thanks.

Some of the images extracted by using fshtool and biggui seem to have transparency in the original images, but I can't seem to get the transparency back... could I use ea graph to apply transparency within the fsh file? Thanks again for the info, Hakeem

I still haven't found a way to remove the black area around the logo I replaced for the team popup logo ingame... has anybody found a way to get the transparency back, when replacing the logo?

- for those who still want to know:

- best thing to do is extract the big file of the league you need from the team.big file. then extract the fsh file from that league big file. all this with bigGUI.

- use fshtool to export all the images.

- open the bmp file of the team's logo you want to replace, and edit the logo to FIT EXACTLY the original one. make a transparent background and save as PNG.

- delete the folder you got from fsh tool (the one with all the bmp files).

- import the PNG file to the fsh using gfxpak or impbig.

- import the league fsh file back to the league big file. and then the league big file to the team.big file.

cheers.

Usually you may need to create new logo with different size/shape. Then you need to create new transparency mask (save as BMP, greyscale) and import it using fshtool too.

thats true. but thats not what I meant. not about the transparency.

the thing is that if you put a logo bigger than the original one, I dont know why, but in the game, those extra pixels it has arent shown ingame (:/)

gfxpak -rp 1962.fsh flagimage.png logo

what is wrong with the code above? I renamed the transition....fsh file to 1962.fsh just to have the shorter name, the png file is my flag image and the original shpi file is named logo... but the command breaks down. I'm not much good at this stuff, so... help!!!

replacing menu logos works fine for me (see the pic), but I have serious problems importing the in-game team logos (those used in TV popups). I know these logos are stored in zdata_05.big archive, in transitiontexobj.texobj85302734375_texture52777099609375_XXXX.fsh file, SHPI 'logo', where XXXX is the teamID. For me it seems that there is no alpha channel in the FSH, at least fshtool cannot fing any. When I tried to import my edited logo into the file, it's 100% transparent so it's invisible in the game. Do you know how to solve this?

That's where my problem is... I imported my ingame logo using fshtool, but there was no transparency around the logo... did you import a .png file, Lukas? If so, how?

I've tried everything to get the ingame logos to show properly... to no avail. Keegan, your gfxpak .bat file is fine, but doesn't work. The ingame popups have a strange palette, there doesn't seem to be a detectable alpha channel. FSHTool doesn't pick it up, and EA Graph shows the the whole image as transparent in the palette workshop.

I'm interested to hear how you got full transparency too... so far all I can generate is no transparency.

chris8875: I don't think this is where you want to start learning about logo importing.. it's a strange new case. Search the forums on how to import logos from last year. There's a ton of tutorials out there that will get you started. People are usually more inclined to help you when you have an actual question than when you say "can you teach me from 1 to 10~!".

Cheers.

I cannot import from PNG, because gfxpak does not support the format of the logos archive. You have to import the badges using fshtool.
