[RESULTS] France v Uruguay

I hope both France and Uruguay advance,
so I was hoping for the draw.
It was an entertaining match, even with no goals scored.

That's the way I see it =)

It seems like the tournament could be the Underdog's Tournament - the only traditional teams I fancy are Italy and Germany. Even then, Germany is now an underdog these days.

I agree that the red card on T. Henry was fair...Henry slide hard showing the sole of his boots.

But I also agree that Silva should have been ejected as well.

he does that all the time, I wish some adversary player would injury him or the referee would give him a red card

France is going from bad to worst, now I'm really doubting they beat Denmark with one player less... I do think it was fair though, but these has been overall some of the worst refereeing I've seen.

I was really hoping Uruguay to beat France, I was dissapointed... Even though I agree with INFEST that the teams were actually pretty good and the game was intense at many moments.

All the refs in this WC seem to lose control of games early on. There have been so many controversial decisions so far that I'm really surprised.

Henry deserved what he got. But a lot of players from other teams deserved to be punished too and got off easy.

For me the worst referee was the guy that was in charge of the game betw. Brazil vs. Turkety...calling a PK, when the foul was outside the GK's box.

Henry's sending off was fair but what about Dario Silva. He didn't even get anything for stomping on Vieira's leg! Uruguay failed to capitalise on the sending off because they played a very tactically bad game.
