Rh4psody 1.0+ patch with player abilities?

Rh4psody has released a new patch. its 1 kb greater than the one from last night. Did they translate the player abilites in formation menu now?? If not what else is the change?

U have to wait the english version to have a translation on screen

Are you sure it's bigger? The version number is still the same. I really hope they fix this problem soon. I tried using a sheet of paper with the translation for the stats, but it too difficult to use. Once you get half way through the japanese stats, it all just looks like a mumble and you lose your place on the translation sheet. An update to fix this stat and player ability problem is definitely in order. I hope it's soon.

And you didn't even post the translation for the player abilities. Like I said in my previous post, I tried using a sheet of paper with all the translations written on it. But the major problem with that is that since the stats list and the abilities list are so long, unless the stat or ability you're looking for is close to the top or bottom of the list, it's difficult to determine. If you really wanted, I suppose you could count the stats until you get to the one that concerns you, but how inconvinient is that???

Surely you can use the info SensiSteve gave you and work out the translations for yourself? After that it should be easy...

Did you even read what I wrote in my previous posts?? Do you have the game? Have you tried what your talking about? I don't think you have because you're making it sound a lot simpler than it actually is. I'm not saying that it's impossible to translate with the list above, but t is EXTREMELY inconvenient...

To anyone that has the WE6 and applied the patch, try using the SensiSteve's list above to translate the player stats and you'll see EXACTLY the inconvenience I speak of...

I just added the "new" patch and burned the game again, but the player stats list and the player abilities list are still in Japanese. I would rather have waited a bit longer for Rh4psody to have released the patch, if they made sure these VERY important aspects of the game were translated Man, I REALLY hope they fix this soon...

Has anyone tried the Italian patch? Does it have the Italian translations for player attributes. It seems a bit strange that the screenshots on Rh4psody's site show that the Italian version seems to have these stats translated.

Just an idea I have that you might try if they don't update the patch with English translations for abilities. Get a hold of a piece of card (really good if it has sticky backing) and place it against the t.v screen when you have the attributes up. Write the English translations next to the Japanese and then attach it to the screen when you need to reference. Certainly not an ideal solution but it could do the trick and should be easier than crosschecking on paper (which is what I do). I'm currently in my 5th season of the master league (Just switched to 4* after making it to the 1st division).

Am I missing something (in the edit menu options or something), but are the none of the player names translated either? I wasn't sure as to whether this was something that rhapsody could even do, but if it was part of the plan, then it doesn't show up on the patch that I used.

Dseven, everything is translated except for player stats. If your player names are in Jap, erase your options file, that's what I did and then reboot the game.

On his page, the Italian patch seems to have those abilities translated, so something weird is going on. I checked the size of the game bin, and it matches what the readme file says. Weird.

Well Doug B, if they don't update the patch, then I guess I won't have a choice. Thanks for the great suggestion though

there are more things which suck in this patch.
the stats after the game are totally messed up.
fouls and yellow cards are on the same line so that next to possession there's nothing.
imo, several words are translated worse than in the 70% english patch, e.g. ireland=eire (in rh4psody's patch)...
if that guy releases his 100% patch i'll definitly use his patch.
anyway, i'm looking forward to the wc2002 patch from rh4psody.
i'm already working on the teams' rosters myself tho...

The Italian patch has the same Jap, stats. Either his version of WE6 is different and thats why the mod isn't working, or who knows.
