ok career mode with real madrid crashed after selecting manager name and nationality;

barcelona, crashed at the same place..

Ac Milan, crashed when scheduling competitions..

at this point I started to think it has something to do with the duplicate players on Adidas U11, to confirm, I started a career with FC Bayern Munich.. no crash! 8|

AS Roma, crashed when scheduling competitions..

PSG, no crash..

wow.. way too fast :D

if you've fixed it, you know what caused it.. what's the source of the problem rique.. it'd make easier for me to pinpoint crashes and problems..

It's an issue with the "player loans" table. Teams like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have player loan links to players that are no longer in the game. However, If I delete the loan info in excel it causes crashes. This means that I have been forced to use the default player loans data from FIFA 12 for career mode to load without crashing. The issue with this is two fold. Firstly, there is loan data info in there for players no longer in the game. Secondly, the player loan links are outdated and as such totally inaccurate. For instance, you will have a player like Keirrison and Henrique being sent back to FC Barcelona after his loan is up but he is no longer a Barca player! Also, if I use the up to date player loan data from FIFA 14 it causes crashes. When I delete the loan information in DB Master though, it seems to stick. This means that I will now have to re-enter a ton of player loan info manually into the database through DB Master which will be a pain in the ass :md: and I will have to delay the BETA release until this weekend! :O

A quick possible solution that may work is for any team that you plan on starting a career mode with, prior to starting the career simply open the FIFA 12 database with DB Master and search for the "playerloans" table and look for the heading "teamidloanedfrom" and look for your club id and delete all loan references for that team and career mode should work for Barcelona, Real Madrid, Roma etc...

Tutorial for fixing player loans crashes:

1 - Open the FIFA 12 database with DbMaster 12

2 - Scroll down to the "playerloans" table:

It should look like this:

You will need to find the teamid for the team that you want to start career mode with. You will get this information from the "teams" table:

The search for the team by typing the team name at the top:

Then click "Find" (binoculars)

I tried to start a career with AC Parma, crashed again.. I downloaded DBMaster and found player loans..

AC Parma team ID is 50.. sorted it by team ID... 5 records are present..

I tried to delete that values by selecting all the values for AC Parma; "loandateend" "teamIDloanedfrom" "playerID", and then clicking on the DELETE RECORD .. it said "cannot delete, select on ore more records first".. I dont understand what it meant so I manually deleted the values by pressing the delete key, but after deleting and saving the DB, it kept coming back..

how about deleting all the player loans, and doing them from scratch to make sure it doesnt crash?

This is the result.

The team id field gives the value as 241:

Then go back to "playerloans" table:

As you can see the tab with "teamidloanedfrom" is jumbled. We need to group the loans based upon the teams that players are loaned from. We need to group all the Barcelona loans together. We do this by clicking on the "teamidloanedfrom" tab. This creates an automatic reorganization of the table by teams.
This is the result (Players are now grouped by the parent club that they were loaned from:

WE then place the mouse cursor in the "teamidloanedfrom" tab and type Barcelona's team id - 241 in the "Find" binoculars at the top as before and voila! We will find all of the playerloans for barcelona.

Then Delete this data by doing the following:

Then click "FILE" and the save. Start career mode.

I've tried this but it always causes crashes. ALWAYS. Just follow the instructions above and everything should be fine.

yeah it's now saving the database, it takes some time to do so I guess..

what I did wrong last time was; selecting three cells for a loan.. when I did select four cells, it deleted without giving any error message..

thanks..

it's weird that it crashes everytime.. maybe it has something to do with a squad size of a single team that exceeds the maximum limit.. I'll look onto it..

I'm not sure. The great thing about the latest EA release rom FIFA 14 is that basically all of the top teams players were returned to their clubs and when the loan data is deleted it doesn't affect the squads really. Also, I deleted the loans for Parma and everything works fine. I just started career mode with them:Shifty::Shifty::Shifty::Shifty::Shifty: Things seem to be coming together nicely!

Just a lot of testing and hypothesizing. Sometimes the supposition is good; sometimes bad.

***It seems like a lot of loans can be deleted without crashes***
The drawback is once you get to a certain limit in deleting loans the game will crash. I don't yet know where the limitation lies exactly. Just a theory though. I deleted the loans for barca, man united, arsenal and a few other top teams and career mode still loads. However, it doesn't work with deleting all loans or placing the new fifa 14 loans in there all at once. However, i can add the loans in small amounts. FOr instance, I started career mode with Man united and pasted the loan data from FIFA 14 into FIFA 12 and it read it corrctly. Marnick Vermijl was returned to me at the end of the season. I could also add other real life loans from last season. However, not all of them.

The .rx3 files are directly from FIFA 14. As such, Creation Master 12 won't be able to read them. An option that you have when you're editing kits is to have a cut and paste the current kits folder somewhere else...open the database and regenerate with creation master then do your editing. When you're finished, paste the kits folder back and everything should be fine.
