If you start CM in July 1, 2013.. all the players we are transferring have a set join date of 6/30/14.
EDIT: I just tried a few players in the FIFA 13 transfer patch you did that have a contract expiring date of 2013, as you know the CM start date for that patch is July 1, 2013..
The results are not good. It causes a instant freeze when you click on the player in the transfer section that has a contract that has expired. Although they are still with the club that the contract expired from.
I tried 3 players..

Gonzolo Fierro-Colo-Colo
Dylan McGeouch--Coventry City
So, i guess the solution is we'll have to change all these players to 2015 or transfer them to free agents.

i have a database with all the summer transfers, promotions and relegations.
i used the latest moddingway database with the transfers done by fadz.
i removed all the added teams and leagues only keeping the leagues and teams
in the game when FIFA was released.
while i removed all the added teams, i kept all the players from all those teams and they
are all available in the free agents pool.
rique, if you want to convert it for 12 and 13 i will send it to you.

The thing is I wanted to avoid the use of moddingway's things. I may do what you've suggested and release the patch Saturday but continue to do the fut 14 transfers...We'll see. My problem also with other rosters is that they do not pay attention to smaller leagues. I want the entire thing updated for all clubs. Hence the use of FUT 14 transfer lists. I will probably use both fadz' .db and convert it and the FUT 14 all transfers .db.

Let it go Theo. In any project there will be mistakes. Just use PTFC's database and redo the transfers that you can. I will fill the gap with the others. I am hexing the electronic adboards for stadiums without them. It's going well thus far (I've completed Anfield and some others). I have the database you have sent me, and I'm trying it from time to time and I encountered a problem..
after scoring a goal, the game may crash to desktop.. for example CPU scored with Reus, then after his celebration run it crashed right before him finishing his celebration move..
when I scored with Ciro Immobile, I always do some celebration myself but when I let the PC do the celebration, the game crashed to desktop before him finishing his celebreation as well.. he did the celebration run fine (he did it like Pato, heart with his hand) but his finishing celebration crashed it..

It's a known bug. Since it was a straight conversion from FIFA 14 references were made to some "extra" celebrations that are not in FIFA 12. You can do either of two things. Open the FIFA 12 database with DB Master and look for the players tab and click on it scroll across to finishingcode1 and finishingcode2. Change all values greater than 48 to 48 or 0. Or an easier method is to open the fifa_ng_db-meta.xml with notepad. Search for finishingcode1 and finishingcode2 and change these lines:
