I fell that this movie is gonna flop

It has been too long since the Rocky series made its last film (1990) and I feel that the general public will not really care about this one. In a way it could wind up to be like Star Wars: The Phanthom Menace was. There was a great wait for the film and people had long wanted to see another film and when it came out it really sucked. It often happens when the make sequels and other installments to a film series that is spread across multi years. The same thing will happen to the new Indy Jones and if the make it the new Mad Max film.

Well that is the sypnosis, Adrian is dead and Rocky dies at the end after winning the title against at the age of 50 (I hope they change the fact that he dies, it's the 3rd attempt at killing off Rocky).

yep, I heard that is the story they are using but without Rocky dying at the end.

and Mason Dixon is going to be played by Roy Jones Jr. or Antonio Tarver

The fourth part is just totally disgusting. What a brilliant propaganda by picturing all the Russians as mean monsters. The characters depicted in a totally black and white character, in a total bad guy and good guy character. Where USA is the good guys, and the Russian boxer is a monstreous boxer who deserved every single beating in the world for killing the white american best friend and rival, who happens to be a black boxer. Is this one of the most common stupid plot ever made or what ?

I don't know what you're talking about! Once Rocky shows that he can fight and hang with Drago it becomes two men out there, not man vs. machine or Russian vs. American; just two guys out there trying to survive. Drago like shakes his hand at the end right? The Russian unfeeling machine demonstrates great sportsmanship! Plus I thought Rocky 4 was a fun storyline especially with Apollo's totally unexpected death.

I agree with that. and the training scene is the best of the series after the classic Philly training scene in the first movie.

Rocky is such a terrible movie, makes me wonder why they didn't stop producing those Rocky movies after Rocky II..
