Rooney priced above £50m

Man, I hate this so much. Some lil plucky POS club holding back the progression of a young talent, I HATE that. Come on now, Everton know that he cant get any better at their club, they're going no where, and he is.

If he doesn't move soon he'll be ruined all because of some lil miser chairman's greed. IMO the most Rooney is worth is 7 million. He's not as big a prospect as Cristiano Ronaldo, yet Sporting had no problem selling him for a good price. If I were Rooney I'd start talking to the manager about leaving, and if they ignore me I would pull a Louis Saha, because I wouldn't want to stay and struggle at some loser club when I could be playing with better players in bigger stadiums in bigger tournaments.

Everton are just trying to play it smart, they know no club will bid 50 mil for him. They will probably accept 20 mil. Everton are a small club, there are not in the position to reject that kind of money.

IMO, I would pay 10 mil for him if I was a manager. The rest will depend on how many goals and appereances he makes.

Well... Rooney is an Everton supporter and that must mean something... sure he'd like it if Everton were the team they were in the 80's winning trophies and everything but have you ever thought it may be his dream to play for them? not all of footballers are gloryhunters... I just hope Rooney can keep on playing well and helping his club and country...
but going back to the topic, I think 50M is way too much money, and it's just a way for Everton to say they want to keep him

freddy adu is a very young and decent player. another example is Robinho. if Rooney see how Robinho play for santos, he will know what his level. that guy can dribble, shot, double step, good acceleration. just 1 thing he can't compare with rooney. he have small size..

rooney aint worth 30 million maybe about 20 maximum , hes havin a good spell in euro 2004 which is good but is he consistent enuf in the premiership?? NO. If he is goin newhere its man united or chelski no1 else cud afford him and he dont wanna leave home which is in man utd's favour.

DUH, I'm aware little clubs need the cash, wtf you take me for? Of course they'll want to get the best price for their own homegrown youngster, but 50 million is a stupendous price, for a youngster whos never played a major Final, or won anything in his first team professional career.
