Roster Update Problem

Whenever I try to download the roster update in the game to play online, there is an error and it tells me that "Unable to download update roster update at this time. Please try later." Anyone know why? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can't. Only EA official patch can do that.

What if I added custom faces?

It is fine if you did menu graphic update or other things which did not touch database. But adding new adboards or adding non-existing gk kit makes impossible to play online.

Cool, thanks. One last question. How can I revert the Creation Manager database back to the original settings? (So I can play online again) And will it keep the custom faces? Thanks in advance.

There is no way to return to original db by Creation Master.


You should reinstall FIFA or get original fifa.db

if u want play online with whole added adboards, faces, gloves and so on simply copy fifa09.dat from your original dvd and all should be OK you are able again play online but with updated game... i am playing so second year..

Guys, I uninstalled and reinstalled Fifa 09 so I can play online but it still says it was unable to download the update. Help! Is there any specific thing I have to delete or uninstall?
