But still hold onto 2nd place in div 2.4.Managed to lose 6-2, you should watch my match, can't believe how many bugs there were in the game. I've never seen any of them before. My problem is, that it was all one sided. My team played one man short 3-4 times(resulting in 2 goals for my opponents), which is crazy as there are no penalties yet. At one time the puck went nuts as my team was attacking, and decided to give itself to my opponents, where they scored a goal. This happened a few times all at the top left of the rink. Also my superb goalie who hasn't had a bad game yet, didn't move on 4 of the goals. I wouldn't have a problem if this had happened for both teams, but it was so biased, like a sim handicap system gone crazy. I think the other tops teams also lost. I remember that something like this happened on one of the first football seasons, the second to last week of the season. I just can't believe the hilarity of what I've just witnessed. Oh well my team is still about top.

I just rewatched the match, this is what happened.
1st Period: 12th minute - Opposition get a shorthanded goal.
2nd Period: 5th minute - Another opposition shorthanded goal.
: 14th minute - My team scores, match continues without counting the goal.
: 18th minute - The oppositions 3rd shorthanded goal.
If you take away their shorthanded goals and give my team the oen they scored this should have been a 3-3 tie.
Just posted this on the forum and asked for a replay. I doubt it'll happen, but I just got robbed.

Basically a shorthanded goal happens when a team gets a penalty and they go one man down. As there are no penalties yet, no team should go one man down. It's irritating as it cost me the match.

Had 15 minutes to burn and just watched your match. The only iffy goal was the 4th one, where your goalie disappeared. After the goal he was seen skating from the other side of the rink. Also the 5th goal, he kindly stepped out of the way and let the puck in. Just like the footy sim, the one before last.
I guess they are doing their sim updates and are playing around with the home advantage handicap system. While putting in shorthanded play without penalties.

Well I was taking on Woodley City, yes lee82's (Edinburgh Knights) hockey team. Ranked 16th in the world, England's number one, unbeaten in the league. 2-0 COME ON!! My team played excellent 1st and 3rd. The 2nd was their period but I got it in the end. I'm so pleased! Only my fifth hockey win ever and it comes against a top team and manager.

Hmm, would've been 3-2 then, and a chance to draw... and if yours was 3-3 then you would've had a chance to win!
If I lose and deserve to then fine, but not if it was due to a bug.
But one of us SG members should win it, as long as I avoid relegation I'm happy. I'm more concerned with football and you seem quite into the hockey so I guess I don't mind if I lose out on the title to you.

Rami, Yep I saw that, while a replay would be fair, it would also be a miracle. I posted on the swedish forum and someone said this was the 'invisible man' bug, but I can't see that as when my players were one man down, the first 3 times it let my opponents score, so it is definately a 'one man down = a goal for your opponents' bug. You're playing with quite a short bench, is that because of form? I think a lot of the top teams are doing this and that's why my team was winning.
Chris, It's not so much about winning the match, my only real goal is staying up(for the money), if this bug hits my team a few more weeks, I'll be down in div 1 before you know it. Hopefully it's just a freak case. Also the sim is a bit of a lottery, while winning would be nice it'd be a little like the football's first champs, The Mighty 'Goalkickers.'
Also my football team are playing superb at the moment, winning friendly leagues all the time and in second place in Div 2.1. While I am using the 4-3-3, so are the other teams in my division. Because the football is way ahead of the hockey I still prefer that by a long way. But it's nice to have a top league team, hmmm I wonder what it's like having two top league teams in MZ?
