Yeah agree with that. The final try was just one of those circumstances where one team is on attack giving everything, and one little error saw the other team run 100m.

Anyway, see you in next year's Bledisloe!

Yeah, when was the last time that hit Australian soil other than just for show?

Been pretty good for NZ sport in recent days. Narrowly lost to Brazil 1-0 in u-17 World Cup, won the final netball game if not the series, won the RWC - only black spot has been the Phoenix registration issue. Now there is another story.

Cricket World Cup was even a highlight until the final...

Losing the Rugby Championship to Australia is a slight blip though, surely?

I definitely think Australia are much closer to returning to the top of rugby than they were a year ago

Losing the Rugby Championship in a world cup year is probably considered OK given the RWC is obviously the bigger prize. Obviously will be different next year. The Wallabies should certainly be a strong prospect then given how many All Blacks are ending their international careers now.

I actually think this is what Cheika was doing with the second Bledisloe match - when he played that understrength side against you guys in NZ...Think he decided the bigger prize was the World Cup.

Yeah. That is pretty much what the whole tournament was about this year - giving players gametime in prep for the world cup, basically a selection exercise. I don't think any team in particular cared if they won or lost the championship, except perhaps Argentina in the sense of them being a growing force.
