And it seems like they're going for Hulk to replace Bale. Money won't be a problem that's for sure...

Another left footed? Holtby, Lamela, Hulk... I thought they were looking for someone who can play at inverted feet to pull a 4-3-3 with good ball circulation inside, i'd go for Arda Turan, €25M release clause.

Arda is a Liverpool fan so it would horrible for Liverpool if Tottenham steal him.

I too thought that Monaco signed Hulk, but those rumours were dismissed quickly and there was never no official confirmation by Monaco.
I just remember that there were some talks about Hulk's agent being in Monaco and that's how those rumours started.

Tottenham are gonna try to sign Hulk when/if the Bale deal goes through.

Arsenal are preparing to table an audacious bid for Wayne Rooney later this week.

From Goal.com -

The Gunners have privately been given encouragement that Manchester United could be willing to sell them England’s talisman in the last week of the window despite their public insistence that he is not for sale at any price.

United are now determined not to sell Rooney to Chelsea, whose manager Jose Mourinho has given the striker until Wednesday at the latest to force through a move to Stamford Bridge.

However, the Premier League champions are believed to be open to a £25 million-plus offer for the player from Arsenal, who they do not regard as a fellow title challenger.
