If in some magical world we got him, we'd need a minimum of 2-3 other players to accommodate a change in formation - which conte wouldn't do. So how would kroos go in a 3-5-2?

As long as someone is more defensive than him, he can play in any formation. As Az says, he's better than everyone you have bar Vidal, maybe.

Pogba has more upside, but Kroos is at the top level NOW. If I had Pogba I wouldn't swap him either, but if you asked me to draft one or the other, Kroos wins every time.

Mus, you're not getting the point. Obviously you shouldn't get Kroos, he doesn't fit and would need to be accomodated. The hypothetical runs on the idea that Juventus decided to get him anyway, for whatever reason. If he's not in the squad, don't get him. If he is already in the squad, you tell the rest of the squad to fuck off and make room for him. You would need to make some changes to accomodate Ronaldo or Messi, too.

Spurs would have lucked the f*ck out, but Prandelli deserves more ... hopefully he doesn't decide his next move before the World Cup ...

unless he swaps places with Carletto, or Don Fabio is ready, I'd much rather Prandelli stay as c.t. ... the whispers at the FIGC are of Max Allegri ... :bwtf:

I really hope Schalke get one of the much better German GK prospects. Actually, they are, they've signed Giefer haven't they? Fabianski gonna ride the bench again, Giefer is better than Sczeszny (or he was when he was playing at the top level last year).

There have been a few times he has made the wrong decision. One of them was joining Arsenal and second decision to stay there more than 3 seasons. He's 29 right now and has less experience than Courtois age 22.

I prefer ter Stegen over Giefer.

I thought Giefer was very impressive last year but I haven't seen him at all this season. Buffon didn't miss a beat after the relegation though, so he might come back better than ever.
