But now Real Madrid must sort out its non-EU players situation. They can only field 2 at once, and have 3 total int he squad for next year.

ie. Samuel, Ronaldo, and R. Carlos cannot play at the same time. You figure out the rest.

Roberto Carlos has Spanish passport since the end of 2002. And Ronaldo has already filled up the paperwork to also have it. He will have it in time for next season, that's for sure.

Now Real have to focus on filling the void left by Makelelé, since Hierro's has just been filled up. And with some other signings to compose their subs bench a bit more (eg. Cambiasso has agreed terms with Inter in February), they will definately be the 'Galacticos' Florentino Perez wants.

With the loan returns of Morientes (Monaco) and Flávio Conceição (B. Dortmund), Real Madrid will certainly be a more solid squad for next season. And Valdano, don't be a fool, don't sell Morientes. He can 'hack' Real next season(s) like he did this year. He's a true bomber goal-scoring machine.

And, despite being sad at the same time, I'm proud it's gonna be Jose Antonio Camacho who's gonna coach the true Galacticos next season :)

I m almost sure is allowed 3 non-EU players.

Nope it's 5 non-European(or UEFA) players. For example russians or turks, they aren't EU members.

Ok you're right, I've just checked it again.

Russians (Karpin for example) don't count as non-EU players in Spain though.
