It's hard for a manager ingrained in national team management as Scolari to succeed at club level. I really don't think Chelsea had all that much passion since Abramovich came in and spent big, they just had the best guys you could get in their team, guys that were able to do the job. Put them in a situation like this, where things aren't going for them, and they show their hand - they don't seem like they're trying to get themselves out of the rut. I don't think Chelsea should be spending more money to bring players in, they should be looking within and seeing who has the passion to play for the club and who is just there for the money. I'd say that the ones who wanted Scolari out are the ones that are there for the money and not the club, there for the success but not the work.
