Scoring from Long range shots

Hi

how do i score from long range ? in fifa 2003?

I played multiplayer with someone..he scored 6 goals from long range ...around 40yds ..

when i asked him how he did it he refused?

Can anyone tell me?

first you should do a freestyle trick to the side and then trie hardiness of the shot fully hardiness is not good trie the middle!
the watch where the keeper is standing if there is space just try a shot!!
Also you should try volleys but also not hardest take the middle of the powerupspeed!!
just try it but it will take some time till you get pretty good and i found out that you long range shots work best with the original gameplay !!!

just power up the bar from 1/2 to 3/4 full.. i don't know why but i find it easier to score long range goals using steven gerrard..

and try to shoot during 1st touch, like when u pass to the shooter and he shoots at the first or second touch.. or do a freestyle where the ball goes further away from you and shoot.

do i need to aim it at the corners?
by pressing up+leftorright or just left and right?

no u don't need to.. just aim it forward..
and i think u will stand a better chance of scoring when u stand a little bit left or right of the centre of the goal... the chances of scoring is also higher when u are shooting at the right of the goal using the left leg and vice versa..

i tried that with gerrad but the goal keeper saves all shots and the ball goes to the corner?
