you know when you search for something lets say google for example when you type the word in the engine. how can you stop it from staying there and all the other things you have search for?

you click on tools//internet options// then clear history and temporary internet files

I don't let my parent use my computer, so that got rid of any problems like this. Dad has managed to lead to 2 reformats after using my computer 2 times :|

Wrong.

To clear search engine history you have to clear the auto complete thing ("Clear forms" in IE) or your search engine stuff still shows. In Firefox just do tools, options, privacy, then click clear all.
