Seeing my first premier league match...

So yes after 6 years of watching the premier league I am finally going to be able to see my first live premiership game! I'll be going to London for spring break and will be able to see Chelsea play Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on the 19th of March. Basically since I have no idea what Stamford bridge looks like I was wondering if any of you here in the forums that have been to STamford bridge before can give me some advice on stuff, like where to buy the tickets, as well as the best seats, etc. I'd really appreciate that! Thanks in advance :)

Well, goto CFCNet.co.uk and signup there.

More Chelsea fans there and alot of them are in London and attend games regularly and they will help you out no problems.

I'd try and get a seat in the MHL but the club better not give it away to the Palace fans.

Being at the match will give you such a ******* buzz, one that has no come down because you will always remember it. The hairs on the back of your neck will stand up on end when the thousands around you are cheering and shouting. The side of being a football fan you can never experience when watching on a TV.

Two speakers, four speakers, 66 speakers or even 400 feet of TV screen can never match the excitement, noise and atmosphere of actually being at a match.

I hope you enjoy the experience.

Only place to but tickets is chelseafc.com, but they are not on sale yet. Will go on sale to members first and if there are any left they will go on general sale at a later date. But remember this is a London derby so you may not be able to get tickets as it wouldn't suprise me if it sell out to members and season ticket holders.

You almost certainly wont be able to get seats in the Matthew Harding Stand lower as it season tickets only, unless you want an impaired view seat. Avoid the East Upper, I sat up there for the Newcastle game and the atmopshere was really quiet, I was the only person in my block singing at the start- its that bad.

You should know that if you have supported Chelsea for a long time.
When I go to Old Trafford one day, I know prscicsely where I'd sit.

(Top of the Stretty for those interested, good view and I can sing my head off)

Season ticket through One United is the way to go then, you need to book tickets at the start of the season or about 3 weeks from match day.
