I'm thrilled that my country plays hosts Portugal in the semi's. I'm hoping that both countries will put on an even greater show than the Czech Republic - Holland one. I still have a few doubts about our midfield, it looks a bit unbalanced with Seedorf attacking, Davids cleaning up his dirty work, and Cocu behind them to support the defence. Though that might just be the way to stop Deco from getting into the game. I hope Advocaat will finally drop Van der Meyde and play Overmars, even though he can't handle 90mins. When Overmars' done just bring in Makaay or move Robben to the right and play Van der Vaart/Zenden on the left wing. The players have tomorrow off and then on monday they will get ready for the Portugal game. Let's see what happens after that... If we lose I hope the Czechs win it, if we win, well then uhm I hope we win it .
You forgot to add you'll win easily.

Great! I was hoping for Sweden to win it, since I knew it'd be easier for us, but a Portugal x Holland is the match-up everybody wants to see.
Honestly, Holland hasn't been playing sh!t. I don't think there's one sinle fan of the Dutch classic football style (and I'm one of them) that can say he is happy with what we've seen so far.
The fault goes mainly to some Dick they got training the orange army, who continuously insists in playing 2 DMs no matter what.
The lack of creativity upfront is evident: where is the trademark smart, fast paced passing? Holland's game is now much more direct (=boring) and through the wings. Also, Ruud is the first choice - and his quality justifies it - but I think Maakay would suit better this style of play.
Finally, Holland will have 2 less resting days than their semi-final opponents; in this stage of the competition it is an absolutely crucial factor! It can make all the difference in recovering slightly injured players, studying the adversaries, etc.
If they continue to play like this and Portugal shows the same spirit and quality of the past two games we'll go through!
But that's the problem right there: too many 'ifs'. It's going to be unpredictable. It all depends on how strong the union of each team is and their mentality towards the game. I think the team who wants to win the most will play in the big final. May that team be Portugal!
FORÇA PORTUGAL!!!!
