The SWOS Career mode was untouchable, you could start in any league in the world, in any country, including 3rd division's. And you could buy and sell players in real money (pounds etc) and play the european cup, fa cup and league cup JUST LIKE REAL FOOTBALL. Why cant the same system be applied to the master league.

[correct me if im wrong] In master league you have 3 leagues, with pretty much random teams from around the world and a division below so that relegation is a possibility, i dont have a clue whats going on with the transfer system, its complicated to say the least, but its so unrealistic i cant bring myself to play through.

SWOS had it perfect, you play a season, if you do well ur chairman praises you, if you do bad, you get sacked and have to seek a manager job elsewhere, obviously the gameplay has come a long way but why do we have the crappy master league, when it shud be all leagues being played simultaneously with an european cup for the teams that finish 1st and 2nd in each league.

Is there a way to make the Master league like this as i havent pld ML extensivly?

Well, I don't play ML verry much but SWOS was the best football ever!

The only thing missig im WE/PES is a carrer mode as a player!
We would create a player and play only with that one, witk fixed cursos, and get deals fom other clubs.

THAT'S THE REAL ML!!!

SWOS WAS THE BEST FOOTBALL GAME EVER!

But Pro evolution has the potential if they were to introdce a career mode with proper leagues and structure of real life.

SWOS was amazing.
But you can't make the same type of career modes these days without buying the licences for all the leagues you want in your game. And also the licences for the teams are important too. Shame.

Let's hack into PES4 and change the ML setup so that it is the same as SWOS was :rockman:

i dont mean fixed to one player, on that note tho, has anyone played with Tomb Raider style player cam, its pretty cool, reminds me of libero grand, and it shows the graphics off.

I admit it is a bit daunting at first, but now that I have got into it, I'm finding it a lot of fun, and I really prefer it to the FIFA2005 career mode. The experience system is fantastic, and it allows me to mould young players the way I want by putting them in different positions.

The transfer system is a bit complicated compared to the simplicity of FIFA's where you just choose to buy a player like he is an item in a shop, with the occasional refusal should your managerial reputation be too poor. After a bit however, I find it more absorbing because it feels like you are actually negotiating with a player and you have to draw up a contract, rather than just buy him.

I admit it would be so much better if you had a proper league system though, but even as it is it's still far more deep and absorbing than the FIFA career mode.

SWOS 5 - 1 ML

ML is one step away from being complete bollocks. Far too much of it's detail is lost in secondary matters. Without a proper league structure, it's just not worth the effort.

SWOS didn't have everything possible, but it ALL the most important things in abundance.

Why Konami why, they are so close to having the best football game of all time. If only the ML was structered like real life.

Someone still yet to come up with that idea. I thought of that as well. It would be interesting. Dont know why were paying £30 pound per copy and those guys cant use their brains. I'm sure their living large and were aiding there lifestyle while they feed us mediocre crap. :boohoo:

Why haven't Konami added more unlisensed leagues with fully editable teams? It would require a lot of work to edit all the teams but you would only have to do it once. Then we could have a much better ML.

I wish we could also edit kits for teams that come up with the right ones. Kinda silly to play 5 seasons in the same god damn kit...
