I have just tried this option file. Good but the kits of some of the teams changed e.g. Italy and Spain. The Superpatch has the latest kits for these teams.

Well it will be awhile for me in the Master League to find out as well for respawned players. I did however notice in my new rerated master league created players are not changed when using the global edit in the PESfan editor. I have two created players on my team so I may just do them manually in the game and see if it sticks if I start a new Master League..... speaking of my Master League.

With your new ratings and playing *** 10 minute halfs I have 5 pts in my first 4 games. I suck at this game but I seem to play a ton better with your ratings. I have a all-Italian Roma squad (all players 23 & under) and I really enjoy the gameplay with this team now. I tied Ajax 2-2 first game (Gilardino scored an 87th minute equaliser for me), then tied Udinese 0-0, then shocked the world with a 2-0 win over Juventus (with my B team) and lastly lost 1-0 to Fiorentina (I traded Totti for Pazzini and freakin Totti scored the winner!!!).

I'm really loving the game again for sure. I'm using the Super Patch 2.0 option file so if anyone needs it let me know (of course minus my trades for Roma).

I've been trying to find the 2.0 Opt File, but can't find it anywhere. I haven't checked the boards in a while - other than this thread - where'd it go?

thank you very much for the patch, i appreciate the work and the effort of trying to make the game better, so far i'm enjoy playing with it, its much more slowed down, i will post more of what i think later..

I'm a moron. There is a created players check box that I didn't have checked when doing the global adjustments that is why Montolivo, etc. didn't get rerated. I will do the 2.0 Superpatch right now.

I'm being a moron too, but what tool are you guys using to edit the option file? I can't find a 'global adjustment' thing anywhere in the PESFan Editor, nor in the game's edit section itself?

I'd love to be able to play around with overall stats, try to improve the stamina problem, so what tool are you using?

In PesFan EDitor, there is a tab that is called: STAT ADJUST - thats what I've been using. I'm sure there is another editor out there, but I haven't used it yet.

Check first page.

I changed some things.

- Took out dribble speed value and top speed/accel value for FORWARDS ONLY - the reason being I'm not seeing enough goals, these defenders are rock solid and develop an uncanny speed burst. Could be temporary fix though.

So you re-rated the (HAWKS) Superpatch 2.0 option file too?

no, I'm actually editing the one from the superpatch 1.0, the 2.0 of Hawks is giving me a KIT error where the alignment is off. Still trying to find the perfect option file - bug free- to release.

if anyone knows, that'd be great thanks.

Are you talking about kits like AS Roma looking very strange??? This was corrected in the version I have so it obviously wasn't corrected using the option file. You must need another file from the patch. (although I think i remember a few gk's maybe looking a bit odd).

ps - I also noticed that you needed a top flight speedster to get by a defender and even then you couldn't really create any distance. I think your tweaks to forwards will be fine.

I haven't had time to play the game at all in the last week but I was able to play a few games today using the Hawk Superpatch 2.0 option file. I'm only an average player at best but I can't believe how challenging and realistic the game could be made at 3 star level. Outstanding work SEPAKBOLA! The pace is much slower and far more fun than the default crap. :rockman:

Couple more questions:
Will you be making another option file with transfer updates?

And, I know this may be thinking too far ahead but, do you plan on getting WE9I for the pc in case we need you to fix the gameplay for that too? :funny:

Yes Hawk, thats what I'm talking about. I see this kit bug alot, mainly with the La Liga teams. I've seen it in my option file and yours - so I'm pretty sure it has to do with my 0_text.afs - also for the life of me I cannot get Kitserver to work in PES5, that could be the problem - I'll look into it.

Ted, its great to hear you're enjoying the file! I'm glad that you also tried it on 3 stars like I suggested - that is where the big differences are at. I've thought about including new transfer updates - but time isn't on my side as much these days, I think there might be someone waiting for the transfer window to close before making a newer one.

Oh, I cannot wait for WE9:I to come out - almost there. Hopefully I wont' have to do any sort of editing (wishful thinking) with these similar values. But I guess we'll have to wait and see how WE9 turns out. Crossing my fingers.
