01/12/2004. Totti and Nedved were the winners of the night as both players won the awards for Best Italian Player and Foreign Player award respectively, as well as both being awarded with the top prize for Best Serie A Player award.

yeah i agree.....but he might of lost some votes b/c hes 2 years older then Cassano, im not sure...i though Miccoli had a better season, although Cassano was publisized more since he was with Roma

Im not surprised by Cassano winning though and wouldn't say he doesn't deserve it.

The first person you think of when you think of a young Italian player is Cassano andsince people generally tend to have a short term memory, he got the votes.

Cassano is a hack. The other day at training, he did too many backheels, so Capello told him to stop. What does SHE do? Walk off the field. What a primadonna. He is such a prick, with those gay tattooes, I hope he is run over. Too much time with Totti.... who has played well, but not as much as Nedved, especially when considering last season (the part that was in 2003).

I hope Cassano never again plays a game for the Azzuri u21 or the team proper. He should be shot.

He has some good skills, but he better get his head right, or else his career will be ****ed. He can score.... but errr...

Nedved was robbed from winning outright. His 2003 was five times better than Totti, especially last season. I suppose the officials had to please the home fans, and get an Italian in there...

just like cassano and totti, both were voted as the best cuz of their performance in the last half of the year (they did nothing the first half)
mutu had a great year with parma and thats why he got voted

I used to like how inter played....when cuper was there, that counterattack they used was deadly.....but now with zac, it seems as if the players don't know what they are doing until the ball finds the forwards who put it in...but in the midfield, unless van der meyde is playing, they seem lost and confused
