seriously, that was beautiful to watch!

seems like 1 point in the last round against The Maccabees might be enough for me to go through...I do miss winning though :-(

great freekick from Aimar! first conversion of the tournament too, I think ... and with a match-winning brace, he's a contender for Player of the Round ...

Jeroen: sorry that your home game at the Juventus Arena wasn't that lucky for you ... but as a neutral, it was an enjoyable, albeit crazy, game ... some really shoddy/non-existent defending early on ... hate to see a team have 60%+ possession and not make it count; it was a lot more even in the second half, but JJF definitely should have got themselves a point out ... then again, the Betas were due the rub of the green, after getting a little unlucky in the earlier games ...

the Legio VII game was disappointing ... more possession this time, and the first half looked convincing, but the team really tailed off as the match progressed, and conceding the odd goal late on is never a good thing ... would have loved to see Jojo's volley nestle into the top corner, but Pepe Reina was in top form ...
