Yeah, you can't be unimpressed by Oscar and impressed by Rakitic, only if you take into account high expectations for the former and none for the latter, but a starter in the CL reigning champions shouldn't have such low expectations

He was a starter in a trophyless team coming from Sevilla to replace Cesc when Arnau said he's not worthy of Barça's #4. I don't know how Oscar vs Rakitic is a thing now. Different players on totally different levels at the moment.

Exactly, at first i was very impressed with his performances and i thought he would end up at Atleti or wasted at Real Madrid, Barça signed him by surprise and i was skeptical with that but soon proved himself playing a very different role he played at Sevilla where he was almost a SS behind Bacca, here he is a "bodyguard" to Dani Alves.

Rakitic changed his style completely. At Sevilla he used to play as a 10 or SS in a 4-4-2 with Bacca and now he's basically our second DM. Huge player and very underrated. You don't win the treble with a poor midfield/coach. The whole team has to be complete. They don't get enough credit because of MSN and that's nof fair.

He's a Keita in terms of duties on the pitch. Ability wise, Rakitic is a more complete player.
