SG get together

Hi everybody, i've just had an idea. Why dont we have a bit of a party somewhere (one of are homes) and invite everyone on SG then we can all get together in person and have fun... it would be great to meet everyperson and hang out.... some on here are poets like me and we can read poetry

So yeah what do you senior members think?

I could host at my place in nigeria when i get back from UK in july, but that may be a bit far? We could do it in uk this may?

Dont be so zenophobic Nigeria isnt bad at all, there is crime but not much and you be very safe at mine, i live in a compound (not sure if thats the right english word) which is protected by heavy fences and guard and i can show you round and keep you safe... only problem is i am working in uk til july and it would be nice to have it before then?

Alex i dont know if your making fun of my username but it's not cos i think of myself as a trailblazer or anything, its cos when i was young i used to work clearing paths through the bush for tourists and the job title was trailblazer and i kind of like it.... could have explain that in other thread lol.

Then ShiftyPowers comes in with "They see me rollin', they hatin" entrance music with a mediocre looking girl literally inside his shorts so he looks like a four legged human being. Then Dragan T comes in, completely unaware that there's loads of twigs in his beard, so Sir Sir_Didier_Drogba cracks a joke about it and Dragan responds by tearing off his clothing to reveal a viking fancy dress costume, complete with shiny horns. Steaua is getting a photo taken of him with three girls but Yossarian runs in, haves sex with one of them, then starts arguing with Steaua about a movie, mid-intercourse.

The best part is that it would cost us all thousands of dollars to go to a totally unstable country to have a poetry reading party. I mean, seriously? I'd rather just drink alone in my apartment.

My whole purpose of registering on SG was(NOT FIFA) to discuss various matters(mostly sports related) without human contact. I wouldn't want to change that(I certainly won't be paying thousands of dollars just to meet someone). I'd rather just know you guys by your username/profile. Getting to know the person behind the text? I have to deal with enough of those people in real life....I DON'T WANT ANY MORE OF IT! Wow, virtual interaction......SG rocks!

That's ok guys we dont have to do it in nigeria i was just offering, and yes you would only have to pay your tickets I can put you up and feed you and such.... no strippers in my home though

we could do it in uk if thats cheaper for people, i only have an apartment here so couldnt really host but surely someone here could? Has to be in may or june though or else i cant come.
