I've gota problem.
My computer is fully compatible with system requirements for FIFA 2002 (Celeron300A, 64MB RAM, 4GB HDD, RIVA 128zx 8MB AGP drivers ver. 3.37, Win98, DX 8.0)
but when I want to start a game(match), something is wrong.
I see only shadows of players instead of normal shapes.
Sometimes players are visible but they are still in the same place,

Everything is ok with this one exception that I mentioned.

ah, the Shadows.....a fine band indeed....and with Cliff Richard in tow it was a hard act to beat.

I have the same problem. I am running Win98, STB Velocity 128.

128 not compatible

I also have the same problem running Fifa 2002 with a Nvidia Riva 128 ZX 8MB. While the readme says that this card is supported, it doesn't seem to be supported. Newer EA games like Black and White also don't support the 128.
