The shooting is not so great. When outside the box the shot gets blocked alot and is extremely hard to get a shot on goal as the ball seems to fly in the air alot. I think the shot power meter is on too fast.

What do u think????

Shooting from outside the area should not be easy! If that was the case you score 10 goals in a match from far :)
Realism learns that most goals are scored from inside the box.
I think you will go to the practice ground and try some shots. Just tapping the shoot-button gives you a low shot but keeping it pressed, it goes higher.

but alot of shots come from outside the area making the goalie to save it,i cant even get the goalie to make a save from outside

Pass the ball around and give yourself some space before shooting. If you're just blindly running straight ahead and shooting you'll get no chance at all of getting a shot through on goal from long range. Do little dribbles if you can to shake off defenders and make them lose their balance. Then pass to a free player, and shoot.

because the cpu tries to make it harder by cramping evryone in the penalty box. i try to go around the madly packed defence and pass around to the wings then run in and score.alos scoring with headers esp corners are incrediblily easy( i m playing at 5 stars) wtf. i had paul scholes outjumping 2 tall centerbacks and rise like a salmon to head home. this is absurb.

I usually use a player with great shooting accuracy and power and drag the ball back and fro outside the box till i have the defenders following me not blocking me anymore and then juz shoot towards the goal. I usually do this and score outside the box in the master league. 5*

The key is to make the space...that is the beauty of this game....you get rewarded for your hard work! This is not FIFA!!!
