Short high through ball

I really liked Playing the High Through Ball with LB + Y (trough ball).
But in Fifa 12 i can't get it to work right. Wenn i try to play a high trough ball the ball goes very long. It's not possible to play a short high through ball just over the head of one player.
I turned any automatic control off but i cant get it to work.

any one else having this problem?

no, its working for me better than ever before , a perfect through ball over ,, kills the defense

The timing is so important on through ball.

I agree with matadoor2010, if you use through ball at the right time, it kills the defence.

it sure does kill the defence, as a matter of fact, the defender can't even see it coming! XD

mine working.. do it to surprise defender.. u will like fifa 12 high through ball more..
