Sick of draws

I normally play on 3 stars
started an ML game on 5stars - my record so far:
0-5-0
yep, 5 draws...the first Div 2 cup game was a draw too.
I've also only scored 2 goals so far.
My last 3 matches I played with a VERY attacking formation and I'm lucky if I get any clear shots on goal.
On defence they hardly even bother me but offense I can get nothing going.
It seems like every time I string together a nice series of passes and split up the defence some defender manages to come out of nowhere and stop me right at the last second and when I do score it's like the AI suddenly becomes a god on attack despite that I was owning them earlier.
I also usually have 50-54% possesion each game.

Having so much fun with all draws that I just want to gouge my eyes out with joy

I play normal league 3 stars and I am doing worse in my 3rd season lol
fighting relegation.

focus on ure defense to stop so many draws.......even when i was crap as pes my friend told me i had good defence......thats very important...........make sure u have good defenders like nesta, ferdinand, cannavaro and so on.........

Flat 4-4-2 Attacking arrows going forward for every player except the two centre halves. 3 stars it will do a good job.

Yep, especially in 5 stars. I'm playing my Milan team in 4 stars, i got in 3rd position on 1st season, couldnt get promoted. Now Piliniak has developed into a decent player (could be better, but well, it was my first try at growth players so i kinda screwed up...) and i've got Aghahowa too, he's class. I recommend him, he doesnt play for any team so get him, even if it is going to leave you at negative points. You can sell someone later in the pre-season negotiation. I'm playing a 442 diamond in my 2nd season, bought some decent players, i'm in 1st in 2nd division, 3-0-1.

I bought the whole Dutch national team in season 4 and now Ruud and Kluivert score almost every weak a hatrick I think Im ready for the 4 star level

A bit off topic but, what's the whole deal with growth players?

I mean how do you train them? Does their stamina, speed, heading, consistency, all those things increase? How do I make them increace?

its starting to look good after acquiring totti and figo off of free transfers... bobby convey of the us is a great player as well... ahn is superb..djemba is havin his share of goals... c. ronaldo is not holding up but defensive skills are rockhard... anyways...going to continue so play on gamers...peace

dude my defence is pretty solid...the problem is I don't score enough goals

KEEMO. man, jumping from 3 star to 5 star is a whole new beast my man! It's expected. I suggest sveral things actually, since you are not losing consistently, you know you are good enough to stick with 5 star from now on until forever man, that's a BIG plus. Now to the specifics! Work with your formations. I too had troubles scoring goals, consistently had possession around 60% of the time! Rarely goals though! Switch the formation though to sometimg more attacking then, get more options up front. You might have to take more chances and play more aggressive offensive football. Quick counter attacks, really look for those opportunities and go all out. Try more long balls. Try everything man. I know I haven't said anything specific, but not the same thing works for everyone. Don't be afraid to experiment, it's just a game! Oh yeah, capitalize on those open attempts, as you have noticed, they come by very rarely sometimes! Good Luck

get some scorers then.....more shots ........and get into good positions to score.......try more crosses and try to improve ure passing.

5 stars, 1st season - 5 wins, 7 draws, 2 lost, with default team, 3rd position, 1 point behind the first 2 to go into play offs. 2nd season, with 8 new players - 3 wins, 5 draws and 4 lost, so far. Also, the other teams that play in the 2nd division share a lot of points due to many draws. In my opinion, way too many matches end up scoreless, but it's allways tough in lower divisions. If you follow betting, you'll notice that second division matches in almost 50% of cases end up leveled. It's hard and annoying, but it's a lot of fun!
