Well in some point of view I agree with Merseyside. Siels faces are very recognizable. Thats what is very important in facemaking and makes the face good or bad in looks. But in case of skills and details, Siel is not the best. If you compare his faces to Vadios or Shifty*nim models, Siels work look very very generic. very similar, but generic. I dont mean the whole face, but more the small things like jaw, chin, eye forms, nose, lips, etc. Thats why merseyside calls his faces not "good".
Another point is the texture. Siels textures are basically made out of facegen plus sharpness. Thats better than ea generic, but with real photos, the faces could be much more realistic. That was my opinion about his faces. I also think he should work more carefully, but I am sure he will do that, because with trying, he can improve. (thats why "keep trying")
Dont just criticise Merseyside if you dont know him. He is one of the best facemaker here, because I never saw a facemaker with more skills in detailed modelling. His comment maybe sounded aggressive, but I dont think he meant it.

PS: I really like Siels faces though, there arent many good facemakers here anyways. He is still one of the 10 best here.

the problem are the textures, they looks not like a pic. Many facemakers work with facegen generated textures and they are not good. Arnau makes a great tutorial for FIFA08 how to make a great texture.

The preview in cm is totally different than in game!
The best preview for me is in Blender or in game!

I say this because I downloaded a mega pack yesterday here Soccergaming:

20 of 100 players were good but some 80 discrete and also ridiculous and look very generic.

I prefer Blender to preview or game.

The most of Siel players in game are really beautiful.
