Sitting Here With A Big Grin On My Face ....

What a game ........ :lui:

Ok Ive seen a couple of the old "flaws" that PES5 had but I don't care that much about them now, the game is so flowing compaired to 5 ...

Can't see the woods for the trees? Yes I can ...

Seems to be more "skating" in the animation, when sprinting and running shoulder to shoulder with a cpu player who nudges you off the ball and you see this 2 footed slide or skating ..

The old you before me is still there , played a simple A to B 6yrd pass and the player I was passing to I was moving to the ball , when a cpu player moved out to intercept the ball, as he did this my player went into an auto mode and took 2 steps back away from the ball to let the cpu get it ...

Still not nice , but in PES5 it drove me nuts , here it doesn't seem to matter as much...

Another thing I noticed , the cpu players dont' close down as fast or as much as in PES5. Where in that game I thought that tending to make the game to fast as you had to knock the ball about to stop losing it or be tackled which in PES5 most times meant you lost the ball. Bad thing about the closing down being turned down, my defenders "the ones Im not controlling" seem not to want to move in to tackle the cpu players.

In PES 5 a forward getting the ball just outside the box with his back to goal would have had one of my players on his back pushing into him , giving him no room to turn or if he did my player would get a tackel in, in PES6 when a cpu forward is in that position , my computer-controlled player WILL move out to him , BUT down one side , not up his back , leaving the cpu forward the room to turn towards goal from the other side...

Right those grips about my players not closing down as they did in PES5 and the auto-stepping away from a ball being passed to one of my players when a cpu player moves out to intercept .. I can more than live with , as the game is the best Ive played ... still not easy I got beat in my 1st 3 games..

Oh passing , this aim your pass ? still got the auto passing press the button and a player with turn and hit it to a team mate. What Ive seen its a bit of both, auto-passing to team mates is still the major part of passing. But when there are cpu players between you and a team mate or as you know in certain parts of the pitch you don't see the players moving off in from you,( yes you can see them in the radar, I would have like zoom manual cameras to see more of the pitch) anyhoo, Ive noticed in these 2 circumstances this is when this AIM your pass kicks in .. oh , and I seen it when your FB is coming out of defence on the wing and you can't see the player in front of you , hit pass and its like a loose ball pass ...

But as I said , those PES5 "flaws" though still there .... doesn't seem to matter just now ...

Its like football , where PES5 was too , but in PES5 it was all high pressure quickly knocking the ball about before the cpu got to you .. where even a forward like Henry would chase you CB down as your keeper flung it out to him, get that CB to pass it out wide to your FB and Henry would turn and chase him down ... PES6 more like it ....

I LOVE IT >>>

still dissapointed to be honest, you sound undecided but you wanna sound like that maybe, have you ever played WE9 Liveware Evolution on PC what your saying sounds a bit like that, which is making me very optimistic about pes6, anyway konami hates the pes series, they will bring out winning eleven 11 later on that will again and again leave the pes series in the patched up world

punk sk8r i know how you feel the winning eleven was the original game at the start the japs have made pes for europeans who love scoring easy goals sorry the way i've expalined it but you know how winning eleven was released after pes5 the same will eventually happen for this game it will turn out much better in we11, i still don't understand why they choose it to be that way, but they like the winning eleven series better, here is a simple example have you noticed on japenese websites how they have winning eleven but nothing about the pes, i've seen it with we9le too.

And in europe we don't have anything Winning Eleven. Dude, seriously, why would they even want to spend their money on ads for PES when it isn't even for the asian market. Come on man. :kader: Bad example.

your the same read carefully what am i trying to say why am i insisting on winning eleven, have you noticed the creator decides who gets the edge, he knows the japanese are more interested in winning eleven, which is gonna be better now you judge, if that's not enough go play winning eleven 9 liveware evolution and compare it with pes5 then you would notice how much winning eleven is on top.

Well since they release We after PES, exactly how surprising would it be when WE comes out being better than PES? :jap: And obviously your the same cause you need to read my reply, VERY SLOWLY (too tough? Hint: I was referring to your example)..Here you go mate, have fun: http://www.iqtest.com/

I'm not entirely sure (at least not sure enough to call you guys bad names) but I believe WE10 is the Asian counterpart of PES6 and WE11 will, in fact, be the Asian version of PES7. The WE-series is released before PES (WE9LE, for example, was a beautifully tuned version of PES5 but the original WE9 came out before PES5). WE11 (Winning eleven eleven?) will indeed be better than PES6, therefore, seeing as how it will pretty much be PES7. I like the Asian versions better, personally but there really isn't a great difference.
