Best thing is to uninstall fifa and then reinstall

This patch really sucks. If this is how you Fifa looks like, I feel for you. My game looked great, but I saw this and gave it a shot...what a disapointment! Fortunatelly I had a backup of my game prior to installing this thing.

The patch is good but it's not enough.FIFA 09 on graphics is next-gen (maybe ..) but the AI is very stupid, because the engine is very "older" (it's FIFA 2004 engine).Anyway, on 9600GT i can't play on high 1280&1024 with this patch, because i am seeing that the game is "scalling" =>> this patch damaged the game optimization.

I agree! A lot of work but little success. I had very good graphics before but this patch made gameplay worse.

This patch is hideous and should come with warning notices all over it. Oh, and getting rid of it is as easy as getting rid of AIDS.

This patch is the **** and reminds me of how awful fifa 09 is right now with ****ty graphics.Anyways,after i installed the patch the time passes by very SLOW,even if its on 2 minutes,the match takes 30 real minutes to finish,i mean,what the heck,verify the friggin patch before uploading it,all in one,it's a pure fail patch,don't download it,the crowd is more current gen then it used to be and everything looks nowhere near realistic.

Today is the Next Generation Graphic Patch Update ready for release.
Version 1.0 must be installed!

Features:
- correct the Facedesign
- better Framerate, remove the jerking on many computer
- Turflight completly new, the night turf is no more so bright
- new Moving Pattern (special thanks goes to Junjoong for his great base)
- little Turfupdate (special thanks goes to Junjoong)

Maybe you use it or not but the framerate is much better and the turf lightning find most of the users who test it allready much better too and some users find the old turf lightning better. What you find better, must you decide!

patch still has a few issues with some players hair, and why is baked lighting on by default ?

it is no more on 1 because aactivate Baked lightning was one of the main arguments why the players look so bad from the hairs etc and normally this should be off in v1 too but there was a little error from me and so was this activate there and the error with the player faces in FIFA

personally,i think junjoong`s turf pack should have been added, they would have complimented this mod perfectly.

Most of them are in this patch, only the turf lightning are not absolutly the same, the moving patterns from him I have updated a little bit and I don't use the t229_*.fsh turf files from him for this update
But you can install it easily manually when you want them completly

Here is the next update of the lightning in FIFA

When you find it good and has no suggestion is a release at the weekend possible as Light Patch.
The problem which it gives in some stadium with Cl floodlights which were too bright is remove too, which where in the first versions of the lightning for some users.
For those users who want know which turf is it, because some other users ask me this, that is the turf from the NextGen Patch + Update
