Our defence is being bad, we suffered 3 goals and i really like Roberto but... 3 kicks = 3 goals...

Kardec is doing a great pre-season, Gaitan and Jara are perfoming well. Ruben Amorim is such a great player!!

Yeah, it was funny to watch as he appeared to be running away from the ball lol.

But I do feel for the lad, he's clearly affected by the way the press and media started to crucify him after that "frango" in the first match. He's still adapting to the team and the way we defend is different from a team like Zaragoza.

Let's hope that with a proper defense, that is when Maxi, Luisão and Coentrão return his confidence will start to grow and he can show us his real skills.

Our defence was better than last game, Roberto suffered 3 goals... 2 of them was bad misses from him... hes nervous as hell!

Kardec is being a damn player this pre-season, really liking this kid. Ruben Amorim is pure class and Jara scored a great goal.

Aimar left injured hope thats not bad.

Dont really know...


When he was rumoured to come, some people who knew him well said that hes a great keeper, but mentally weak... I guess thats showing right now on this games.

I know that pre-season its cool for experiences. But if Roberto didnt miss that clear saves we would won all the pre season games so far...

Benfica 3 - 2 AS Monaco

- Airton
- Pablo Aimar [Great goal]
- Cardozo [He was subbed in and after 1 or 2 minutes he scored xD]

Well, Monaco's first goal wasnt Roberto's fault, but he could do better than that... Im a little worried about his perfomances.

Carlos Martins has been great and Gaitan improving a lot.

Our defence has been a little bad, but with Coentrão it did improve. We miss Luisao and Maxi Pereira [On vacations after the WC]

Kardec is doing great.

Well this video helps in understanding certain commentaries regarding certain clubs by the Sporttv "journalists", something that we've been used to in the past few years.

Or wouldn't the station be owned by the manos Oliveira, but you'd expect a bit less bias, that's what we have anyway... :rolleyes:

Hes a great MF, he helps a lot in the defence and attacks very well. He isnt the type to show off, but is very effective in all games. Personally i hoped Ramires to stay here for one more year and it would be better for him, but if he goes to Chelsea right now, he certainly will be a great help. He's like a balance. He puts together the midfield.

Ramires to Chelsea is now official.

Great player, will be missed. Hope JJ will find a similar replacement.

To be fair by the way Carlos Martins has been playing it would be interesting if he gets some more opportunities in the starting 11. Although totally different players, I know.
