Slow gameplay for ISS3(PC)

I've experience SLOW(or lag) gameplay, even though the game speed is set to 9(maximum) in friendlies and competitions. My players just move so SLOW! Whereas i can see the opponents' movements are much faster.
I do not have this problem in training though.
The gameplay in training is very smooth but turns otherwise when switched to playing a friendly.
Current system: P!!! 866Mhz, Geforce 2 Ti DDR 64MB, 512MB SDRAM.

Anyone with same problem...?

The only way I can make the game play smoothly is by setting the detail level to 1 (the lowest)

I have similar specs, but my processor is P4 1.8 GHZ.

I guess it must be the 64MB Ge Force 2 thats slowing the game down. I have the same.

The games recommended specs call for an 8MB graphics card though! Minimum specs required is a 4MB graphics card!!!!!
Don't believe the box!

I've tried to set detail level to 1, but to no avail. Still same 'matrix style' gameplay... sigh

yup this game is absolutely horrible fifa kicks its arse, and i NEVER thought id say fifa kicks anyones arse but it does.

Try slowing the game speed.This might in some increse the gameplay speed.

no nothing wrong with your pcs m8s

It just crappy coding from konami, they straight ported the ps2 version to pc without optimising it for pc use.

I have the exact same problem with my radeon9700
in training mode speed level 1 goes smooth and in normal match its a slow as a snail even on speed 9 and with weird lag.

Really hope that they'll come up with a fix real soon since I don't own a PS2.

Same with me.
Zoom in, this will help you... The game is screwed up and when there are too many players on the screen it slows down.

If you guys have Anti-Aliasing on turn it off and put detail level to 1.It should work then.

i found antialasing and turned it off
but it stills slow
pentium 3, geforce2 mx40064mb, 256 ram

yeps me 2 set my Geforce4 MX420 card to Fast etc etc,
i have a P4 1.8 Ghz 512 DDRAM winXP Home.
noting wil help for me, is there just some 1 whit a good help!!?

right click and go to properties of your graphics card..choose high performance, not high quality..it'll run as smooth as smooth jazz...
