Slow ingame menu

When I playing a game and want to make a sub, the game slows down in the sub menu.

does anybody has this problem??

yeah me too, on PS2..
not only that,
even the save/load system does take soooo long to process !!
but wth ? !!
i don't care, i want to enjoy playing the game and i'm getting what i want

everything in the game goes smooth exept the sub screen its like 1 frame a second. it took me 3 minutes to make a sub!

It runs fine for me but maybe thats because I have a Intel P4 3ghz, and a decent gfx card and RAM

hope they release a patch for the less fortunate!

Yes menus are slow and 640x480. Why EA.. Why didnt u use 1024x768 or 1280x1024 resolution in menues?

I have a p4 2533 geforce TI4200 1024ram!

that should be efficient enough man, thats ridiculous you have issues with that set up!

what res do you run the game in, what refresh rate does your monitor have? are you using default settings for the GeForce card in the control panel menu ?

latest drivers? defragged lately?

ti4200 is old know get your self.. If your on a budget go for the 9600xt.. If u wanna spend big go for the radeon 9800 pro or xt ot wait to the new x800 comes out

1024x768x32, 75hertz, latest drivers, default settings

I tryed 800x600 and 640x480 but still the same problem

also 16bit

before I bought the game I reinstalled xp, so xp runs smooth

i dont get it. its only when i'm in the subsitution menu

Ea are aware of the slow menu's problem. I have been in touch with them and they tell me there is a patch in the works.

thank god. They piss me off. I had the same problem in Fifa 2004, but even worse.

in PS2 the ******* menus are slow!!! Try changing teams in the team select and it takes u 5 mins to get from a to z.

I am glad I bought it for the PC, that must be sickening for people on the PS2, because there isnt a patch

i have
P4 1.6GHz
GeForce FX 5600 XT 256mb
256 DDR ram
but still slow

i think is my processor speed and ram were not enough for that...

is surprise that PS2 have this problems...this going to be EA problems that using high requirement on unnecessary part...this is a bit stupid...

yeah well said ngyc. Why the hell would we want extremely nice (yeah whatever) looking menus which take 10 seconds to change team? WE DONT!! we want to bloody chose our team and PLAY!! not see some random face behind the teamflag!!

I get what your saying but why do they have these problems I mean Madden, NHL or NBA live have good menus yet FIFA doesnt. Im starting to wonder who actually makes FIFA games.

those producers that say they loves and know football but hard to see them listen and implement what we want in the game this is the bad point for EA

i wonder whether they play the game created by themselves before release. aren't they feel bored and not enjoy playing it, full of bugs, lack of realism (i not mean the graphics), and not worth to have it.....

if they create the game base on what we want and even themselves feel enjoy to play and have this game. i think this going to be the initial success before they achieve million selling in market.....
