I play it superb on my p 3 1000 mhz, gf 2 mx 400, 256 sd ram.It worked on all of my friends too.You just do the following:

-go to dxdiag and set sound to basic acceleration.
-download the unofficial speed patch from http://www.reterioja.com/usuarios/anibal.ag/PES3_Acceleration_Patch.zip .put the exe file in the zip to program files\konami\pro evolution soccer folder. start the program and press S. it's japanese so you may not understand anything.
after pressing S, if the game doesn't start, exit the program and click the pes3.exe.bak file (it appears in the folder after you press S) , and start the game exe file from there.it definitely works..

I tried it, but the weird thing is, that when double spees option is enabled, it goes VERY slow, but when it's enabled, it goes VERY fast, TOO fast, I just can't slow it down

when I play in resl 1024x768, high quality, the game goes too fast when many players oare off the screen, and pretty normal in the penalty box

Doesn't work so what do I get for your guarantee? All these posts claming to fix it are BS.. the only way it'll be fixed is if hey relise that their patch is usless and make a 2nd one.

Aye. The double speed option and all the tweaks mentioned may help the illeviate the symptoms of the 'bug' and help run things a little better but they don't solve the problem.

The only way this is getting fixed is when Konami figure out the problem and address it with a patch. Until then I won't be playing it... I can't get any sort of decent performance even with a 1.4ghz Athlon, 512mb RAM, Radeon 9600 Pro yet the demo was perfect at high res and detail.

I'm beginning to believe, there's NO BUG at all...

I'm no tech wizard and I'm certainly not sure of this.

But I think the game just runs in some resolutions smoothly depending on your graph. card and memory, and if you try something higher, instead of playing with a stutter, the game runs very slow and is unplayable...I think that's about it...

640x480 low detail -> VERY fast 5 (too fast)
640x480 medium detail -> VERY fast (too fast)
640x480 high detail -> VERY slow (too slow)

1024x768 low detail -> VERY fast (too fast)
640x480 medium detail -> VERY fast (too fast)
640x480 high detail -> VERY slow (too slow)

the resolution doesn't affect the speed, but the detail level does affect the speed

Then how do you explain the MASSIVE difference in performance form the demo to the full version? Just read my post above, I have a 9600 Pro card which is WAY above recommended spec and it's unplayable on the lowest detail settings. The demo ran at a very smooth 60FPS at 1024x768 at high detail. I run an IT department and I'm tweaking PC's all day so I know that my system is clean and doesn't have any problems and I know how to get the best out of systems performance wise.

There's clearly a bug or conflict somewhere... hopefully they can pinpoint the problem and release another patch because I'm sick of playing the demo.

What? It works better without sound?! How do I put the volume off? Does it work if I put volume as low as I can in the game's options, or must I do it some other way? From Control Panel for example? TELL ME!

This trick didn't work for me...:(

It's not by lowering the sound volume that you will make the game run faster :D
You have to disable your sound card in the device manager.

i deactivate my sound card and it helps a lot. i can play the game very smooth, like the demo, but i have no sound :(
cant konami make a "sound" patch or something else, which solves this problem .. cuz i think the problem is the sound!! as it was in iss3 (also from konami) !! :rolleyes:

konami can solve sound problem by a single patch..it's easy...f.uckin bad port they do...and rockstar games does great port e.g vice city
