Slowdown in WE7i

Will the U.S version have this slowdown or is it a different game to PES 3 and be more optimized for the PC ?

hopefully WE7i will fix slowdown and stutter (PC).

i dont wanna open this can of worms again, but i never had slowdown with PES3 on my average PC. im not saying that PES couldnt have been better programmed, but i am saying that something CAN be done about it on the user's side, and if WE7 has the same issues, im sure there will also be something the user can do to rectify it. i know, no one wants to buy hardware they dont absolutely need, im just saying that the slowdown problems were NOT universal.

that being said, i hope WE7 is programmed in such a way that anyone with decent hardware (in other words, better than GF MX) can enjoy the game without hiccups

oh i agree that PES3 can be played stutter and slowdown free...

however for me, i have to use Version 1.0 which means that the shadows are screwed most of the time.

if i want fixed shadows (most of the time, not always), using 1.1 or 1.3 updated adds slowdown and stutter to the game...


i wonder if there is anyone out there using 1.3 who is running PES3 perfect, if so PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME as to how your system is tuned.

the damn shadows annoy me. :) Hopefully this will be fixed in WE7I... regardless i still love PES3, too damn addictive.

p.s. talking about the player shadows of course.

p.p.s. funny how FIFA2K4 and PES3 both butchered beckham's hair ... i guess it really was that way beforehand... but the two ponytails :) I heard that WE7I added new hairstyles so it's all good.

ive never tried 1.3. maybe i should reinstall PES and try it. i had to erase it a few months ago cause i was on the verge of taking a baseball bat to my monitor. one more loss and i probably would have lost it. PES is a good game, mind you, just infuriating when youre a PES/WE noob

So, that version for pc will be exactly the same as we7:I (usa)?
Or it would be the port from we7:I (jap version)?

pes3 pc runs perfect on my pc.

im just wondering how fifa runs on your pc, does it run better then pes3pc or worse.

on my pc fifa runs worse, its jerky all the time and looks like **** compared to pes3 with 8xaa/af

PES3 definitely runs better than FIFA

probably because FIFA does more with lighting and other effects

FIFA is probably 35-50 fps with all AA/AF turned on, where PES3 runs at a constant 60 most of the time.

Nope.
As far as I know WE7:I(usa)=PES3
WE7:I(jap version) is a new game for PS2 with a lot of differences from PES3 and we7:i(usa)
That's why I asked what version of we7:i would be released for PC.

If WE7I (PC)=WE7I (PS2) usa version - in this case I completely will not understand konami.
Why duplicate once again the same game for PC.

Ah I see, I was unaware Konami was releasing we7i on pc! This is great new I hope it's a step up from pes3 which was really buggy at least for me :(

ntalex is right, the japanese we7i will be like a we7 Final Evolution with some new stuff, while the american version of we7i will be the same game as pes3...
so its like this:

we7i japanese = we7 FE
we7i american = pes3

btw the we7i that is coming for pc is the american one :(
