hey guys, i got the french commentary from fifa4fans...
the thing is i can hear the commentators perfectly fine, i understand french and all, but all of a sudden, when i am choosing teams everything is just blank, is there neone out there that can enable me to see the teams i'm selecting, also another thing is, it wont' say what teams are playing at the game screen, like on the scoreboard, its just blank and the score...please reply if you have a constructive answer, thanks alot.

oh another thing, here is the readme for the file...

--> INSTALLATION <--
Extract all included files into the following folder: ..\fifa2003\data\audio\spc
If you wanna hear the french commentary, set in the Fifa2003 options the language
"french".

If you wanna hear the french commentary and have the menu in the german language,
just rename the folder ..\fifa2003\data\audio\spc\eng into
..\fifa2003\data\audio\spc\fre .


---Ok i want the menu in English and want french commentary...idon't understand how this works, because if i rename ENG to FRE, then i have two FRE folders....that is redundant and i get a prompt saying i can't have two same folders names, so what are they on about? this doesn't make ne sense, oh well, just thought i'd say some more...
help...lol

Hi, is there anyone out there who knows if its possible to see whats in the speech.str-file?
I'm from Sweden and have a little idea to sample Swedish commentators and put them in the speech-file.
Is there anyone who knows if there is a possibility/program to use so I can see every comment in the speech.str-file.

I would be very thankful if someone knows.

Jag minns att det fanns ett sådant program till fifa 2002 som man kunde öppna kommentatorfilerna med och lyssna och importera sina egna meningar. Det hette speech nånting... Det borde funka till fifa 2003 eftersom ljudfilerna e väl av samma sort till båda spelen?:confused:

Har kikat lite på downloads men hittar inte nåt program som heter speech nånting, har kanske inte letat tillräckligt.
Hoppet kvarstår och vet du nåt mera eller hittar ett speechprogram nånting så vore det ju toppen!
I så fall kan du se framemot svenska kommentatorer till FIFA2003,
helst skulle man vilja sampla Staffan Lindeborg och Glenn Strömberg men det finns för lite material, som det ser ut nu så blir det Chris Härenstam(Eurogoals m.m) med bisittare, finns mycket kommentarer att sampla därifrån!

Chris Härenstam är en bra kommentator, han skulle passa väldigt bra i FIFA! Ska försöka hitta speech programmet! :)

Så fort ni har nåt prog/upplysningar som kan fungera är det bara att hojta här i Forumet, kunde väl tänkta mig det att det fanns andra som känt svenska kommentatorers röster viska i hjärnan
när man spelat FIFA och är satans nyfikna på upplevelsen av att en svensk fotbollskommentator/expert kommenterar matchen och hur snygga mål/pass etc. du gör...:), spelet skulle ju få en ny dimension och bli på väldigt mycket mer levande!, är så trött på dem torra engelska "PC-kommentatorerna"!

Jag hittade några länkar till "speecheditorer". De fungerade inte dock, men någon annan kanske kan försöka hitta Speech Editor 2001. Kommer ej ihåg namnet på den andra editorn dock...:confused:

thats true and its not the first time I discuss this.
I can tell u all folks again about my little dream I have:).
My little dream is to sample swedish commentators and put them in the speech.str-file so I get swedish commentary.
I have tried with MusicPatcher wich also use STR-files but it didnt work. I need a prog that u can open up the speech.str file and look(listen ) to the different commantary and replace them with own sampled ones in swedish.
IF ANYONE READ THIS,PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY LITTLE DREAM!!:) and I would be very thankful and u could looking forward to get a swedish speech.str-file if u would like in near future...:)
