This site has started as a FIFA´s fan site, always supporting every release of FIFA and it seems EA has taken that into consideration by always having a close connection with the sites founders (Matt Holmes)

But now that competition is stiff I keep seeing this site trying to always put a positive spin on FIFA2004, with all the missing features that are promissed people began to complain and it seems that this site is sticking behind EA, saying they will fix that or this sooner or later even giving a stellar review to the game

And then I read the funniest ****:

Games Xtreme gave PES3 a score of 98%. Where does that leave them in 2 years time if PES5 happens to be better than what PES4 was... a game with a score of 100%?
Matt Holme

I´m just glad PES is coming to PC

I hate biased people that lead others to get crap games becuase of thier bias.
The only bias I have is for what games are the top quality.

I don´t think its bias, they are just trying to make a living. But I think it would be much better if they stayed more neutral, of course if they support EA they probably get some sort of help from them.

very funny stuff, there are a bunch of brilliant post that reflect why EA still makes money. I really enjoyed the part were the owner of this site says:

All of these will be fixed very shortly.

They weren't taken out, they just weren't put in from the console version. But they will be there ASAP. I can't say anything else, I shouldn't even being saying this much so just be patient and they will be taken care of.

The features are not there (like beaing able to save the replays) but he insists they were there it just needs to be patched

Then you have a bunch of funny posts, probably from people that work at EA :D

Don't blame EA, blame the guys who were here rushing them to get the game done, if you didn't want a buggy game you should've kept the "RELEASE THE GAME ALREADY" comments to yourselves, don't blame EA.

Just have patience. Have you ever made a game? I seriously doubt it, so you can't reasonably say how much time it takes for EA to do it. Therefore, cut them some slack or move on to another game title. Like.. soccer america or something.

Just wait for the patch to be released for pc and practically everything will be cleared up when released. With all this negative feedback of the game from people here it hasnt differed me to not buy it one bit. If the game is this bad then i will just wait for the patch to fix the game up and hopefully will be a nice game.

But this site has goten better and will get better when PES is released, now it will be an option for PC gamers and this sorta of thing will probably end.

Also ever since FIFA98 I don´t remember a single patch that ever added any features to a game. The only patch i recolect was one to fix a compatibility with video cards.

It seems now EA will add a bunch of features in the next patch, either that or they are just lying hoping people will buy enough copies before they realise that

If EA released a patch that added tons of features that's like admitting the game sucked a** and they are too full of themselves to just be honest and actually work with thier customers and admit the game was not 100%.

i feel if they release a patch for PC then consoles uses should be able to get their money back, cause EA have admitted the game is incomplete.

There are tons of gem posts at the official FIFA forums. Take this gem of a post from 12 years old dan_dada: http://footballcommunity.ea.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2694

No wonder FIFA sells.

Then there is this FIFA2004 rant of the year from dimvstheworld:
http://footballcommunity.ea.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2655

Classic:
I dont care how petty this sounds to ne1, its all annoying little bugs that just should not be in a game that's been hyped this much. I've watched countless videos of that pug-nosed plump-faced little dweeb Danny Isaac giving us crap about 'the evolution of such and such' and the 'total experience' and 'organic' garbage. WRONG. It's just normal. The whole game is just utterly normal. Even the presentational gloss it is famous for kinda loses its sheen somewhat when you see teams celebrating victory after the second leg of a cup match even though they lose the tie overall on aggregate.

I mean, how could these glaring errors not be noticed at all in testing? Or did lord of the arseheads danny isaac do it all himself and jst decide he couldnt be bothered? That he was fine just looking like an idiot gabbling on about what a perfect game this was?

ROLF.

EA is good at marketing. So good that you might even say they LIED. Now the whole Football Fusion is all a big money scam. It's not enough that you have to pay $50 for FIFA but to totally enjoy the management aspect, you have to get TCM2004. Remember, for the console, there are no Creation Centre. Why? You guess it? They want you to purchase TCM2004. That's another $50. On top of that, they charged you for online play. For the PC version, they don't let you configure other gamepads because they made a deal with Logitech to use the Dual Analog control. MONEY HUNGRY GREEDY BASTARDS.

some of those sicking up for EA leads me to seriously doubt their motives and their integrity...sure EA's budget allows for some payrolls on these forums...posts from Matt Holme lately have been nothing short of astoundingly biased in the most unashamed manner.

He even criticized us comparing the two games in a little forum called PES vs. FIFA forum....

Well, you're right on! They only fix problems if a lot of people have difficulty running the game itself.....never additions or gameplay fixes or stuff like that.

About that patch....all they did was release the game, so they could make the release date. The things in the patch is just the stuff they couldn't finish before the release :) It's an old trick.

Btw, the Fifa 2004 config file has settings for:
- rain
- gamespeed
- referee strictness
- flares
- animated flags
- visual details
and many more things. Yet, none of these show up in the game.

It's not a crap game, it's an unfinished product. :)

Glad I didn't waste any money on that stuff. Konami deserves every penny!

Oh, did I mention they adjusted their stadium list only days before the release ? They left out some stuff (Benfica stadium, Roma stadium, Bayern stadium).

You really need to have some guts to scam your fans/community like that, thinking you can get away with that :)

fifa are great at leaving things out at the last moment, just ask about the cpu to cpu transfers. they released that info after the release of the game.

Its the other way around mate, people on this board have been giving money to EA year in and year out and Matt has had a ton of hits because of us, who much do you think he makes from those FIFA adds? Also I just like to point is that I like here, because of the people on this board and I think we should not be tricked with these stupid tactics no more.

I still remember in FIFA99 or whatever year that they would release pictures with wall jumping and linesman and the final product would not have neither of those.

I'm still believe that they are gonna try to make an expansion for the game. They will make a patch but not fixing most of the problem and not adding a lot of feature

IF not how did it pass the QA ?
