How can you even call Gerrard's a dive? He'd even tried stayin on his feet!

Yea, I don't know if they are all fake dives, the one it looked like the defender squeezed both oh his legs around the forwards foot to take him down.

But I can never forget Rivaldo's one in WC02... It made me HATE him like hell...

And Diouf's one, he should have easily scored the goal but he chose to dive.

true though. And I'm not trying to defend Thatcher for what he did, as he should get a nice ban, but the diving cheats like all featured on that little montage, are far far worse of a disease to the game. In other words: petty little wankers.

Yes, diving IS pathetic. But how on Earth can you rate it more hateful than acts like hitting a player or trying to injure someone on purpose? :|

Diving = act of desparation

Elbowing/insane tackles = Flat out disgusting, inhumane and not to mention insane.

We had an assistant coach when I was 12yrs old whose sole job on the team pretty much was to teach us about the art of diving and exaggerating injuries and ****. He use to reprimand me all the time for not knowing how to sell a tackle properly in critical areas of the pitch.......honestly... :(
