Something I hadn't noticed before in WE6

Hey,

I was playing an international friendly last night (okay 7 or 8 of them) and I noticed that sometimes next to the name of the player I was controlling would appear little blocks with "R3" or "R1", etc next to them. Thinking this referred to the controls I pressed those buttons. Nothing appeared to happen.

Anyone know what this was?

well, you were playing on semi-auto strategy setting. so the cpu automatically chose the appropriate tactic(s) for the respective situation in the match. R1=first tactic, R2=second,R3=third,L2=fourth (this one is manually triggered off with the L2 button).
to change these semi-auto tactics go to the formation setting menu under "strategy" click on the first option and then on the second there you go you should be in the semi-auto strategy setting menu now ;)

ps: rh4psody's patch which is released tomorrow will translate everything for us so that you wont have any problems understanding the tactics etc.

have fun with the strategy settings then, it is a very important part in the WE series!

I was messing around with a lot of formations (trying to make them world cup accurate) and must have switched that setting without noticing it!
