SOS:i need help--Problem with starting wc2002.

after double clicking fifawc.exe,the screen keeps white.
but i could hear the sound "ea sports it's again......"and the ingame sound.
i have voodoo 1 and directx 7.0a install
Who can help me?

1. get a new computer.

if you can do that, first try
1. installing directx 8.0a, right from the microsoft site.

you need 8.0a to run the game.

Also the voodoo 1 is not supported for wc2k2, so if even installing directx 8.0a doesnt work, it is probaly your video card.

all in all it sounds like your computer is more then 5 years old, and really needs upgraded to play the newest games coming out nowadays.

Try the following: make a shortcut of the game exe and open it's properties and add 3D=voodooz to the end of the command line, e.g. "C:\Games\EA SPORTS\2002 FIFA World Cup\fifawc.exe" 3D=voodooz

Now I'm not sure at all if this will work, but I think you should try it. Let us know if it helps you out. :)

Had to edit my message, as I just after posting this read CtrlAltDel's post more thoroughly and yeah, the game doesn't support the card, but still it wont hurt to try :p
