yeah that's me again with another thread about slowdown problem. I have a creative labs sound blaster 5.1 sound card, and as many of you had earlier realized, the slow-down problem when closing onto the penalty areas are caused by sound card and directx9. so now, I'm thinking of buying a new sound card (cos it makes no sense without playing sound) which would probably be a creative labs sound blaster audigy2 (not platinum or whatsoever, simplest version 
should be about 55$), but would it solve that slowdown problem or what?. I also experience that slowing down problem with battlefield1942 and some other games, so I'm determined about switching to that card but a few feedbacks for persuading me will also be accepted . (by the way feedbacks containing other aspects by the users of that card would not be bad )
