Sound Master 06 - Beta test

Well with your program, it allows to creat a new chant in the chants.big, but you cant rename it, add a sound file into it or get it to correspond to a certain team. Also the new chant doesnt feature in the right hand column for editing.
Now with regards to the international team that i have made, the anthem chant was initially made by EA from the UEFA EURO 2004 game, which worked in fifa 2005 for my patch for that game & now i am looking to put it into fifa 06 as well.

When you import a chant (as .asf or .wav) it appears on the list on the right panel. Then you have to add a new reference to it using the buttons on the left panel, you can select the chant from the box below the list and associate it to a team and mark it as an anthem. Isn't it ?

importing from the right only allows for wav, my chant is in asf... :boohoo:

EDIT: An Inbuilt conversion tool would be nice, and Audacity doesnt seem to recognise asf's

You have an older version, I update it every one or two days because I am continuing to work on it.

As you can see it is a "File not found" message, that is a file necessary to perform the operation is not present. In the future this will be managed with a message and not deal to a crash. Being an import operation, it should be an existing file to import, isn't it?

I don´t understand who is the missing file.
I have more than 15 chants in my music folder in .wav and when i click import appeares the error message.

Having downloaded the latest version i have imported my asf into the right column but i dont know how to get it onto the left one :S

You should use the buttons on the left panel. Sorry for the lack of the help, I hope tomorrow to release a version with an help.

No thats fine, I finally worked it out :) ! What you have to do is to import the chant, slect "New Chant" then type the name of the chant in the first dropdown button and select it as the name, then configure the rest of the details

Oh Dear, I've lost all sound in FIFA 06! :nape: There is not even the "EA Sports; It's in the game" at the start, nor is there sound for the button select... & there is no commentary ingame. How could this happen! All i did by the way was import 5 anthems into the chants.big. I didn't get an error message in Sound Master 06.

Wow!! That's probably an "Act of God" (or maybe a contact of the cable)!!!
Anyway, no panic, Sound Master modifies only 3 files: chants.big, audio.big and dat_eng.big you can restore the full functionality of the game getting back these three files.

Is there anybody interested in translating the help in his own language ? If any I will add the help in the package and give credits to the author.

Tomorrow will be available a new version that allows to change also Songs.

Hi.
I have read the help but i still have problems importing the chants.
Here is my steps to import a chant:
1- Go to the right panel and choose import chants from .asf. I choose the file and i appeares in the list
The main problem is when i try to create a reference for that chant in the left panel.
I choose add new reference to a chant. I put the same name of the chant, choose the team etc. The chant appeares in the left panel but without the name. Sometimes he has called ak47.

Beta version 0.6 available. Now you can manage also the songs and there is some bug fixing. Included that signalled by the previous mail I suppose.

i tried n tried but cud not download soundmaster from anywhere. ur username passwd doesnt work n sweet patch also thr is no download. i want it cos my game hangs after every match as a result i cant continue to the menu and have to restart (reboot) once it says continue after a match. pls advise. i was told its becos of a sound bug. help me i'm desperate. thanks
