Sound probs with epsxe and ISSPE2

I have got the game running brilliantly graphics wise, but am having a problem with the commentary. If I am attacking the goal or take a player on, the game seems to pause for a second whilst it loads the commentary for it. This can be pretty frustrating when you are about to launch a shot at goal!If I turn commentry off in the options then I have no problems, but I'd much rather have it on as it adds to the atmosphere.
I am using Petes Midas audio driver ver 1.7 and Petes CDR ASPI driver 1.4. Anybody know how to fix this problem?

At least u can get commentary, all I get is the same loop being played over again when it is turned on, ne1 know how to fix this ?

I'm using an SBLive! 1024

Yes from CD-Rom.

Mamoo, have you tried using Petes Midas Audio driver?All the others I tried seemed to screw up the commentary a bit but this seemed ok apart from the pause problem.
I am using a SBLive value.

I have been using CVGS and it played fine up until I bought my new PC:

P3 1GHZ
256 Ram
Geoforce 2
52 x cdrom

It now plays very slowly and the game is extremely jerky. Like playing quake 3 on a commodore 64!

I then switched to epsxe and the after about an hour of tinkering I have the game running using Petes Opengl Driver 1.50

I am using that 1.7 spu driver and the sound is really slow and jerky which subsequently slows down the game!

Help me!!!!!

BTW how do you do the hurdle jump over players? I have seen the comp do it to me but I have no clue how it is done.

All I know is shoot and pass together does a dummy shot...very cool he he he. What else is there!! :D

Ethoris Please tell me what sttins you are using for petes opengl, if you can do a print screen for me showing it, that will be perfect.

My sound works fine now, if ne1 else woz havin a similar problem, download the new version of epsxe and petes new direct sound plugin
