Hello!

This weird thing happened to me. I downloaded SM10 just for curiosity and looked at it how it looks like without changing a thing in my FIFA 10. Next time I started the game the intro picture "EA Sports - to the game" has disappeared as well as all the sounds and songs on the menu and in the game itself.

Does anyone have a clue what the heck is going on?

EDIT: Reinstalled NG Graphic patch and there came the intro screen back but still no sounds.... Tried copying the audio folder from DVD, no help.

OK, nobody answered on my thread but as I have been looking things out for the past few days and if anyone has similar problems, I was able to get my sounds back by installing common.ini again.

I used the add-on common.ini found from these forums but the problem that occurred was the camera as my whole FIFA in-game-world was upside down. I the clicked and found a widescreen camera that I liked, only thing is that on some stadiums the lower-end goal is blocked by stadium roof.

If someone knows a solution for that, I'd be happy to receive information on that. Although, it seemes that everyone are nowadays at FIFA11 forum and no-one hangs in here anymore, but if anyone sees this and knows an answer.... :)

Well the problem is that probably the common.ini that you downloaded had custom camera settings that only work on some cameras. (other cameras maybe be blocked by the stadium roof or the crowd) And some stadiums are blocked more than others. If you put the common.ini in your FIFA 10 main directory, then simply open up common.ini, scroll down to :

CAMERA_ZOOM_MODIFIER
CAMERA_HEIGHT_MODIFIER
CAMERA_BIG_ZOOM_MODIFIER
CAMERA_BIG_HEIGHT_MODIFIER

You could try editing or delete these lines from the common.ini, then go into FIFA 10 and go to game settings, and select "restore settings to default". If you delete these lines, then it will use the common.ini settings that are in your config.dat / ini.big, where maybe you're FIFA world is not upside down!

However, if you like the custom cameras you get with the common.ini you downloaded, then maybe it's better to try editing values. Increase or decrease each options by or by 0.1 or 0.5 and see what happens.

You have to experiment with these settings. Some settings are cut off by some cameras like widescreen. Remember, you have to "restore settings to default" in the game every time you change one of these settings in common.ini to see the change to the camera in-game. It took me a while to find height and zoom levels i liked without being blocked by stadium or crowd. I use dynamic camera and use those values to adjust it only so far down before it is blocked by the crowd.

Hopefully that helps, and I am here to help if you have further questions. I know nowadays everyone is at FIFA 11 forum. I hang out here all the time, i wish we could discuss ai.ini and common.ini in depth on these forums. I'll be working on FIFA 10 PC for a very long time, so I'm all for breathing some life into this forum!
